About
They are coming.
An endless wave of machines is advancing, and your base is the last line of defense. In Built the End, you must construct and adapt your defenses to survive increasingly dangerous robotic assaults in this fast-evolving take on the tower defense genre.
Build and position a wide range of towers, each designed for a specific role. Some deliver heavy damage, others slow or disrupt enemies, and some are built to counter particular machine types. Success depends on how well you combine and position your defenses as new threats emerge.
Gather resources from the environment to expand and reinforce your base, making constant decisions about when to invest in new towers, upgrade existing ones, or prepare for the next wave.
Enemy waves grow more complex over time, introducing new behaviors and attack patterns that force you to adapt. Swarms, heavily armored units, and specialized attackers will challenge even the strongest defenses. No single setup will hold forever.
Push your defenses further each run, refine your approach, and experiment with different tower combinations to see how long you can last.
Every wave is a test. Every choice matters. How long can you hold the line?

Really enjoyable experience so far. You can tell the developers poured a lot of time and energy into this game. It also puts a fun spin on the tower defense genre that makes progressing through the game feel very rewarding. For the price, you can't go wrong.
Just got the game a few days ago and I’m already hooked. The music slaps, and the auto resource exchange system keeps the flow going without killing the momentum. Rather than stopping to do tedious math, you can just hit a button. The different difficulty modes are also really well done. Easy mode is perfect for experimenting, and trying out new builds. Normal keeps you engaged without feeling overwhelming, and Hard actually tests you. The level design is great too. Resource placement subtly hints at certain builds and strategies if you know what to look for, which makes experimenting feel rewarding instead of random. Overall, it’s a really satisfying tower defense game with a lot of smart quality-of-life choices.
The game is pretty fun to play I enjoy managing the resources and coming up with defensive positions of the towers. The hard levels are pretty challenging and makes the game really addictive.
A lot of work was put into this game :)
The game is an interesting spin on tower defense with open paths and resource management. The hard difficulty is reasonably challenging and requires some thinking and strategy to get through. The prices of resources vary at each level, combined with level layout and enemy wave composition combine to give you some idea of the optimal strategy for each level. Solid indie game that is well worth it for the reasonable price point.
Challenging tower defense game with a pretty unique spin. I like that the game makes you think even on the very first level. Music is great too!

missile launchers might be missing but the soundtrack is HITTING
amazing game, easy to get into and can play for hours in one sitting without getting bored, BEAUTIFUL ART, just reallt great game overall!!
Built the End is a really fun little strategy game with a lot more depth than you’d expect at first. The pixel art looks great, especially the tower and map designs, and everything has that clean retro style that makes it easy to get lost in for hours. The music and sound effects are honestly one of the best parts. The mechanical sounds, upgrades, and combat all feel super satisfying, and the soundtrack does a great job making the game feel immersive without being distracting. If you’re into tower defense or resource management games, this is definitely one worth checking out!!
