A pretty great creature collector game that is very enjoyable. I 100% the game here's what make this game good: * Methods (tools/traps/planning) for capturing bugsnaxs are snappy and fun. * Decent Story. * Fun bugsnax designs. * Well written characters * Voice acting is peak. * Solid dialogues. * Puzzles in this game are pretty nice. * has boss fights. (meh on this one though, but still enjoyable anyway) 8/10 game. highly recommended.
this game is so good and polished the story is very good and engaging the characters are extremely deep for a children looking game the catching mechanics are fun and creative the design of the bugsnaks and artstyle overall are very unique the voice actors did an incredible job but there is alot of gay grumpuses so enter at your own risk jk

absolute peak game, it has yuri, yaoi, and a doomed and not doomed straight couples, my issue is that why did my 4 hours of gameplay randomly despawn out of my pc's data base today [that will mean i lose a lot of motivation to play this game until around a month later] for no good reason at all??

took me about a full year to finish the game (casual player) and i absolutely LOVED IT!!! The story, the lore, the Grumpuses backstories and ALL the different environment was so beautifully done and orchestrated! I felt so immersed in the story line and on the edge of my seat facing each Bugsnax and their weaknesses/abilities. If there was for the developers to ever release a Bugsnax 2 or Bugsnax revisited, I'd be FIRST in LINE! Thank you to the developers of the game for making a game that also helped me through some tough times in school and life, this game brought such a smile and earned a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved the different Sodies, definitely my favorite Bugsnax in the game!

If you love collecting and catching this with different mechanics, you'd definitely love bugsnax. Each snax has a different voice, catching technique, and artstyle. Its such a charming game and I definitely enjoyed it. ✔ Beautiful Artstyle ✔ Good Soundtrack ✔ Unique Gameplay ✔ Funny Character and Story ✔ A LOT of Bugsnaxs ✗ You might get Dizzy Highly reccomend this game for people who like creature games like Slime Rancher or Pokemon
i’m unsure how a game that released in 2020 flew under my radar for so long, but screw it it’s my 2026 GOTY. it is seriously so charming!! there are well-fleshed out characters: you get to do side quests for each one, interview them, and see them interact in town together. it’s fun experimenting on the grumpuses and trying out new food combinations on their limbs, it really brings out the mad scientist in me. the game also challenges you to get creative in catching the bugsnax themselves. if you like customization, completing certain requests allows you to decorate your own home. the gameplay itself is very smooth, i never encountered any glitches in my time playing. just such a lovely game, i wish i could wipe my memory so i could play it for the first time again.
It's a bit of Slime Rancher mixed with a bit of Pokemon mixed with a bit of Viva Pinata. The story is really darn cute and it has a dramatic ending with a cool twist. I all around reccomend this game if you're looking for a casual game about catching bugs with a captivating story and bright visuals!
Got it for the memes, but it was genuinely a great game and so fun! i loved every minute
