Really good and charming game :}
AMAZING GAME! I never got the chance to play Paper Mario so i have no idea how it compares to it, but it was great! Very lovable squad of goobers, the Hard Mode option gives you a reallyyy good challenge without being too much, and the story was very good! Sad to see there's no sequel yet, hoping to see one someday!
I love this game so much please play it

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Quite Enjoyable
Une lettre d'amour à Paper Mario. <3
Bug Fables is exactly what you think it is - a bug themed Paper Mario. It's well written, it has some catchy tunes, it looks nice, and it has some fairly clever puzzle platforming. The turn-based combat is fun but a bit grindy for my taste, and not too difficult unless you enable hard mode - then it's challenging and verging on brutal head-bashing-into-wall difficulty (see bounty bosses). If I had to criticize something, I'd say the game feels a bit unnecessarily bloated, with a lot of filler in the form of endless fetch quests and backtracking for the sake of backtracking. The game would be just as good and possibly better with 10 or 20 hours shaved off. That said, if you have the time and patience, this is a fun RPG with a lot of personality.
A great game. Seriously this game is amazing. Beautiful art, comprehendible yet great mechanics, love the story and the characters. Would love to see a sequel because this is so great.
ive just beat the first chapter and i can already tell this game is going to be peak its like, you know. paper mario, but with bugs. and im a big fan of the both of those things
haha bugs haha oh oh my god oh what is happening oh dear lord
This game has a lot going for it, but the bad parts completely overwhelm the good. More than half of your runtime feels like it's spent looking up guides just to figure out what the game wants from you. A lot of the puzzles are incredibly vague and give you barely anything to work with, which makes them more frustrating than rewarding. The forced stealth sections are also badly designed and end up being more annoying than fun. Combat has its own problems too. Only one of the three party members has a basic attack that can hit flying enemies, but a huge amount of the enemies you fight are flying. This becomes especially frustrating in later dungeons when you're running low on special moves and are forced into awkward situations. Another issue is that characters will randomly reveal they could do something the entire time, but never mentioned it until it was convenient. Vi saying she could fly when the game is almost over is a perfect example of this. The developers are very open about Paper Mario being their biggest inspiration, but some of the design choices honestly made me feel like they took more inspiration from Sticker Star than The Thousand Year Door. It's a frustrating experience overall. The story and characters have their moments, but they aren't enough to carry the game through all of its frustrating design decisions.
