Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Is Bubsy a celebrated icon from the mascot wars of the early 90s or a platforming punchline? The team at Limited Run Games has built a new collection to find the answer. Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection explores the franchise's troubled history and enduring popularity.
Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection is a playable history that includes games, artifacts and interviews. All of the games have been carefully updated for modern platforms using Limited Run’s proprietary Carbon Engine.

Together with the team at Limited Run and Atari, he has created the ultimate retrospective celebration of Bubsy, the 3’6” tall 80 pound bobcat. What could possibly go wrong?

Created internally at Limited Run Games, the Carbon Engine is a development tool that allows legacy content to be ported to modern platforms. It uses emulation as a base, on top of which the Carbon Engine builds features like UI, rendering, audio, data management, controller inputs, and console-specific SDK features like trophies. It allows Limited Run to put out highly accurate, emulation-based ports of classic games for modern hardware. Old, well-loved releases can find a second wind on all-new hardware using the Carbon Engine. It is a core component of Limited Run’s vision for a world that is Forever Physical.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

The collection itself is very well put together, but the included games are a mixed bag, as you might expect from Bubsy. The two games I enjoyed the most were Bubsy 1 and, surprisingly, Bubsy 3D. Both games are very rough around the edges, but you get the feeling that the team behind them had a vision and tried to create something enjoyable. The other two games in the collection pretty much just amount to meandering through huge, maze-like levels where enemies are spammed everywhere and it's hard to move.
If you enjoy games, you owe it to yourself to play the Bubsy collection. You know Bubsy. I'm not going to elaborate on each game. The level design and enemy placements are ruthless. Without the rewind mechanic, or the cheats enabled, you will be doing a lot of trial and error. These are not "good" games by any stretch of the imagination. Each game does have qualities that make them special and at times even enjoyable. But the preservation and bonus materials make this worth picking up. I'm glad I suffered through every game to the credits. Even Bubsy 3D. Jokes aside, this is a loving collection crafted to celebrate Bubsy. There are a lot of bonus materials that are available right out of the box to look at and enjoy. It's odd to say that this is really one of the better collections of older games you can find.

What they claim is a re-release of Bubsy 3D from the PS1 it is not faithful to it AT ALL. Bubsy's movement is completely innacurate, pretty much the only thing they nailed is the annoying way the camera moves when you jump. Might as well have called both of them refurbished.
Bubsy collects le yarn and stomps le woolie
If you don't have a 16:9 monitor, then don't buy this. Fullscreen will not work properly and there is no fix. I wish someone had told me before I bought it. My Alienware laptop has a 16:10 monitor and this is the only game that will not properly go fullscreen. It appears zoomed in and the image is larger than the screen with a wide black bar at the top. Alt-Enter does not work, nor do more complicated fixes. This is a very amateur mistake for a company like Atari. I lost a lot of respect for them in the last ten minutes.
Exactly what I wanted in a Bubsy collection, including the ability to save progress; I can finally see past the first level!
the definitive bubsy experience (if you wanted one like me)
very good collection.
