About
Join Bubsy on a new, intergalactic, platforming adventure! Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. The world’s most infamous, wise-cracking bobcat has returned to 3D with new challenges, new moves, and even more purrsonality – in space! Run, jump, glide, and roll across alien planets, battle robotic sheep, and collect tons and tons of yarn. What could possibly go wrong?
Bubsy’s longstanding enemies, the fleece-obsessed Woolies, have stolen all of the Earth’s sheep. Oh well, that ain’t Bubsy’s problem. Until the sheep overthrow their captors and return as deadly BaaBots, empowered by Woolie technology, determined to steal Bubsy’s most prized possession, The Golden Fleece.
With the help of his motley crew of acquaintances, Bubsy must journey through space to defeat the BaaBots and take back the Golden Fleece. Luckily, he’s acquired some new skills to navigate the expansive, craft-themed levels. Bubsy can leap, glide, claw his way up walls, and pounce off enemies. He can also puff up into a new hairball form to roll at blistering speeds.
The team at Fabraz crafted this expressive new moveset to cater to beginners and speedrun enthusiasts alike. Once you’ve mastered Bubsy’s clawsome new moves, show off your skills by uploading your best level times to the online leaderboards for other players to race against!

Definitely the best Bubsy game ever made Platforming is very expressive and generous if a lil loose at times Humor is very self aware while never mocking of the series history Definitely a shorter experience but it never ran out of ideas or overstays its welcome, a great way to chill out on a weekend or trip!
I can’t believe we got a new game from Fabraz right after Demon Tides, which in my opinion is the best 3D platformer ever made now. Bubsy 4D is not quite as good but still so much fun and a must have for 3D platformer fans. The new free Black Hole update is actually some of the most challenging, ridiculously fun content and I loved it all! Sidenote: the physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition is INCREDIBLE, filled with amazing goodies like an art book, game manual and a poster! Yes, I double-dipped and I’d do it again.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A reccomend yes, for a Bubsy game that the ol' bubcat deserved for all this time. Great visuals, great soundtrack, funny quips, didnt run into any bugs. A thing i was dissapointed by was that not all the dialogue was voiceacted (just using generic lines or grunts), because the voiceactors and the script is genuinely hillarious. Levels are somewhat on the generic/non-memorable side, they do the job, but you wont really remember them after you are done playing the game. The game at launch was somewhat short, with 3 planets which had 5 levels each. Now with the free Black Hole update, that number doubles. My biggest personal gripe was however mastery of the levels - game is definately either geared for the younger folks, or somebody who has been playing platformers for a long time. I mostly played racing games when young, with the ocassional Jazz Jackrabbit 2, which had pretty straight forward controls - move about, jump, a short dash of sorts to break trough blocks, then a special move like gliding or double jump. However, Bubsy 4D has a much, much wider selection of moves and combos. I just cant get them into my noggin so it becomes a thing i dont have to think about. The new Black Hole levels are so challenging I just gave up on the game after just two levels completed (it took me an hour to get trough them).
A good Bubsy game??? AND it's a 3D platformer???
My biggest complaint about this game is that it's too short, which is a bad thing but also a good thing? I wanted to keep playing it, but unless I missed something there's not really anything left to do after you beat the final boss other than going back to the small number of levels and collecting the few collectables left. The game is very solid at a fundamental level, a lot of care clearly went into making sure that Bubsy feels great to control. The level design overall is fairly good, but because of the game's art style the levels kinda feel like they were made in LittleBigPlanet or Dreams. I think that what I am really missing in this game is some really interesting, genuinely hard optional challenges or levels that make the most of all the different systems in the game and really require you to master your movement. So overall, the game just feels kinda... thin? Light on content? I really just wish there was MORE of it, which again, is a good thing in itself. It definitely didn't overstay its welcome. Would probably recommend to wait for a sale, although you could do a LOT worse for this price point.
A Bubsy game has no business being as good as this one turned to be. Sure, it is rather short and the production value is closer to an indie than a premium experience, but the gameplay is pure unadulterated fun and the game manages to make likable one of the genuine failures of the great mascot war of the 90's, a fact that the game happily plays around with. I sure hope that we'll see more of this new Bubsy in the future, as this new iteration on the character feels like the perfect setup for a true masterpiece.
you gotta have to respect bubsy for keep coming back and I would say this game completely knocked it out of the park. everything in this game is really charming, the levels are complete fun to speedrun through and the new black hole update really give you a fun yet challenging level, I very recommend this game
You can mute me, but you can never silence me. I'm living rent free in your head.
