Brütal Legend is an action-adventure that marries visceral action combat with open-world freedom. Set in a universe somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Spinal Tap, it’s a fresh take on the action/driving genre, which in this case is full of imitation cover bands, demons intent on enslaving humanity and Heavy metal tunes.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

la mejor parte del juego es el emperador Doviculus
A pretty under talked about gem of a classic, I had a blast melting off faces with a guitar solo and mowing down enemies in a suped up hot rod. The game itself is a love letter to metal as a genre, and it is handcrafted with love and respect to the medium. If you don't mind slightly janky older games with a lot of charm, check out this game. It goes on sale pretty often, and is definitely worth the price point. Despite the overwhelming praise I just gave though, this game is absolutely not without its flaws. The story is definitely a bit corny and tropey, but let's be real, what do you expect from a game with jack black voicing the MC. I will preface this part with saying I played the game the first time through and 100%ed on the hardest difficulty and have not since played weaker difficulties, so my information about spongey enemies may be a bit swayed. The combat is almost TOO simplistic. I enjoy the touch of adding purchasable combos to spice up combat and keep things fresh, but the combos unfortunately fall into the same issue a lot of other upgrades have where it just feels like it's... not enough? A large majority of upgrade categories aside from combos and axe treatments generally only have a few different variants (usually around 3-5) and the story is too short to stagger the unlocks enough to truly feel like its worth it to unlock every upgrade, especially when upgrades that affect combat aside from vehicle upgrades are often only marginally different (with a couple exceptions) For a good half of the game right in the middle, all of your weapons and means of defeating enemies feels underpowered. I was wiping the floor with enemies in the beginning, and when I unlocked the chain lightning axe treatment I could reliably use my axe in combat, but in the middle it feels like the game REALLY doesn't like you facing enemies without allies for a while. This normally wouldn't be a problem, especially when the game tries to incentivize teaming up with troops to conquer combat encounters, but in the story mode these troops are unfortunately VERY weak, often getting one shotted and leaving you to fend for yourself against sixed ranged units and all solos on cooldown. If you're anything like me, you also completed EVERY side quest to unlock all the upgrades. despite being about 60 side quests, there's only REALLY about 5 different types with varying difficulty. If I were to recommend anything to a new player? don't try to get EVERYTHING on first play. just enjoy the story. the game can unfortunately be a slog to 100% everything in just the story mode alone, let alone the various multiplayer achievements. Now this part is a matter of opinion. Some people probably really enjoy them, but I find them to be very much a slog. Stage Battles. In multiplayer? They're... okay. It's not a one sided battle like most stage battles in story mode, but I find the gamemode to be very boring and tedious. In singleplayer? thematically they're VERY cool, and do reflect well on turning points in the game's story, however because of the nature of stage battles they're not really... fun in singleplayer. more often than not I found myself putting up every merch booth possible before the enemy could even react, sitting for a couple minutes letting fans build up, then destroying the stage right away. For the first few it was okay, especially the first one felt like a true battle. After the third stage battle however... I was definitely getting tired of it. Before I forget because it's one of the main staples of this game, the soundtrack is PHENOMENAL. Beit the forced songs played during specific missions like kickstart my heart during the final racing side quest or through the fire and flames while escaping deviculus, or the fun of just blasting through the countrysides of the past, headbanging as you plow through steel porcupines. My final thoughts? An overall good game if not a little dated, but still absolutely worthy of its title as a classic. 8/10.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

good
I was enjoying it until I got to the escort mission. Here's the problem with that mission: there's friendly fire and it's way too hard to avoid hitting the bus. I lost that escort mission so many times that I don't want to play this game anymore. Save yourself the trouble and don't play this game unless they add a way to skip the escort missions.
This is a wonderful, silly game! 100% Jack Black!
Fun RTS game with Third Person Hack & Slash mechanics. Has cool factions and crazy units like six legged mammoth, sexy battlenuns, grim reapers on electric horses, Evil Priest on towering war machine that spews laser missiles, a huge monster truck that calls down a big sword on the ground, etc.
Yeah its alright, i enjoyed it for a short while.
