BrokenLore: FOLLOW

This game expanded the story of Anne from Broken Lore: Unfollow. Treating it as a separate game or playing it without the other part would feel quite weird. The game had a few aspects I truly liked: the garden level, the explanation of the colors of the rainbow and their symbolism and the mini game soundtrack. That was amazing! Rest felt pretty uninspired and thrown together. If you liked the story of Unfollow, you should play this but don't expect to get much entertainment out of it. The graphics of their other games were much cleaner and more realistic. Also, if you were into the pixel levels of the other games, unfortunately they were replaced by sidescroller sequences that were heavily inspired by Little Nightmares. I really would love to just give this a neutral review. Please, for the future I'm hoping for a few more interesting games in the series. I loved Don't Watch and even Low was better than the Unfollow/Follow games. Ascend, their next entry, seems to have some interesting mechanics I think. We will see.

I wouldn’t call it a bad game. It has a lot of good stuff in it. I was really into it, but the ending wasn’t it. I didn’t expect it to end on such a cliche. Although the events were too extreme for what was being said, that didn’t bother me. I still liked it. The narrative and the visuals were amazing. The gameplay also doesn’t do a good job of explaining what you’re supposed to do. There are signs and symbols meant to guide you, but they’re easy to miss.

it has a story, some good jumpscares, and even a few mini games. i really enjoyed it. 10/10.

Worth the price. the game was pretty long compared to some in this price range and genre. However, the story left me a bit lost at the end.
