Unfortunately, this is just another Unreal Marketplace asset flip. While a lot of assets like the Horror Engine can be used as good starting points for new developers, there's nothing done with the engine in this game that takes it beyond what comes in the package or makes it unique. It's also super short (~25 minutes) and has an abrupt ending that doesn't finish the story and asks for you to buy a sequel in the credits. Sorry dev, but if you're already asking for peoples money on Steam, maybe you should finish the first game before even considering a second. There's not really anything that I can recommend about this game, especially for anyone well experienced in the indie horror genre. Spend your money elsewhere.

스팀에 아주 저렴한, 그리고 그 가격으로 예상할 수 있는 수준보다 더 부실한 호러 게임들이 굉장히 많지만 이 게임은 그중에서도 하위권에 속합니다. 고작 30분짜리 게임이지만 그마저도 시간이 몹시 아깝게 느껴집니다. 플레이는 다이어리를 보고 단순한 지시사항을 따르면 되는데, 그 과정이 10단계도 채 되지 않습니다. 끔찍한 더빙과 지루한 텍스트 무더기를 몇 개 읽는 게 전부고요. 상호작용에는 일관성이 없고, 이벤트 트리거는 앞뒤가 하나도 맞지 않으며, 이야기는 1부터 10까지의 세부 사항이 필요한 이야기라고 할 때 2, 5, 9만 툭 던지고 끝납니다. 추천평의 대부분은 계정을 조금만 살펴 봐도 눈에 띄는 공통점이 있더라고요. 알아서 판단하시면 될 것 같습니다. A very good short horror experience with amazing atmosphere and captivating story.

Сюжет рассказывает о герое, приехавшем в старый дом, чтобы забрать ценные вещи. В процессе он начинает раскрывать мрачные тайны этого места. [i]Завязка банальна[/i], но история пытается удивить несколькими поворотами и скатывается в мистический хоррор с проклятиями и тёмными секретами. Однако всё заканчивается внезапно на [u]клиффхэнгере[/u], а создатели в титрах упоминают о возможности сиквела, в который верится с трудом. Геймплей представляет собой [b]классический симулятор ходьбы[/b]: вы исследуете тёмный дом с зажигалкой, читаете записки, смотрите озвученные сцены и сталкиваетесь с лайтовыми джампскейрами. Пугающие моменты сводятся к громким звукам — никаких монстров в лицо вам не бросают. Также присутствуют примитивные загадки вроде поиска ключа. Графически игра выглядит нормально, но отсутствуют [b]настройки графики и разрешения[/b], что для Unreal Engine 5 кажется упущением. Игра стоит недорого, но за эту цену вы получите [u]короткое приключение[/u] с интригующей завязкой, которая никуда не ведёт. Геймплей скучен: никаких экшн-сцен, пряток или сложных загадок — только [b]медленное исследование дома[/b]. Journey through a convoluted story in a house devoid of light switches, as you search for keys to open doors among various unreal engine assets, as a 4 foot tall man with little-man syndrome and a grudge against a husband who lost it all. No really, the protagonist comes about eye-level to the stove top and sink, its maddening. played on steam deck and it operates at about 40fps, game is not polished, rain through the ceiling, etc, gave it about an hour, but with no clear objective and confusing motive, I gave up. Could be an amazing game, but when i find myself instead; trying to find all of the candle assets in game to light them all for something to do, and growing sad when i find out not ALL can be lit, I knew i had a refund on my hands. I made a control scheme that works well also.. - pros creepy like good storm sounds potential midget inclusion for diversity cheap - cons no direction, purpose lack of light switches not all candles light most rooms sealed off or locked why am i simping for a woman handling her strange baggage?

Heritage is a fantastic short horror experience that nails the atmosphere and lighting. The story is also well-crafted, adding to the tension and intrigue throughout. That said, while I appreciate shorter games you can finish in under an hour, I managed to beat this one in 25 minutes. For the price, it's fine, but a bit more content would have really elevated the experience. Just like another 10ish minutes would have for sure put it over the edge into greatness imo. A couple of minor issues: the collision felt a little off in places, and the character's height seemed strange—everything like counters and tables felt way too tall, as if I were playing as a child. Overall, it's a solid, atmospheric horror game that's worth checking out if you're looking for a quick, spooky adventure! I had a lot of fun. Heritage was a horror game that captivated me from the very beginning. The atmosphere is so intense that you never know what you'll encounter around each corner. Exploring dark corridors, solving mysterious puzzles, and uncovering the family's tragic past was incredibly engaging. The graphics and sound design perfectly convey the sense of fear and tension.

Oyun yarım saat gibi kısa bir sürede bitiyor. Jumpscare olarak tatmin edici değildi. Daha çok gizem ve bulmacaya dayalı bir oyundu. Episode 2 şeklinde devamı gelebilir aslında. Bazı küçük hatalar mevcut oyunda. Örneğin elimizde el feneri var F'ye bastığımda etkinleşiyor ama bize yönergelerde çakmağı yakmamız söyleniyor. El fenerinin ışığı biraz azaltılabilir. Ya da daha sonradan bir yerde bulunup envantere eklenebilir. Diğer bir pürüz yere kitap düşürmüştüm ona çarpınca karakter bazen ilerleyemiyor böyle bir titreme oluşuyor o titremeyi hafifletebiliriz.Telefon çaldıktan sonra tekrar tıkladığımızda tekrardan aynı konuşmayı duyuyoruz bu sefer altyazısız. Telefon eski olduğu için bu biraz mantıklı gelmedi açıkçası. Son gördüğüm hata ise oyun bittiğinde yazı geliyor karakterin arka planda hala sesi geliyor yürütebiliyoruz vs sanırım yani tuşlar aktif kalmış. Fiyatı uygun olduğu için gideri var diyebilirim.

Really disappointed with this game, majority of the assets were from pre-existing games, the collision and general POV was disproportionate. There was such a good story concept; but having a bugged ending where I was trapped in an invisible prison while I stared at the car I was supposed to "Run to" was lacklustre. Could really incorporate more directions and refining.
