About

Step into the life of Junko, a hikikomori whose carefully controlled world begins to unravel as the past resurfaces in ways she can no longer ignore.
Raised by a father who was always present but never truly there, Junko learned early to retreat inward. When her few attempts at connection were met with rejection and humiliation, she shut herself away from the outside world.
As the boundaries between memory and reality begin to fracture, familiar places transform into reflections of her past. Through exploration, unsettling encounters, and the gradual unravelling of Junko's story, she must confront the people, experiences, and emotions she has spent years trying to escape before she loses herself completely.
Japanese First-person psychological horror: Explore, investigate, and survive within a grounded, slow-burn descent into paranoia and perception.
Confined exploration: Search Junko’s apartment and surrounding distorted spaces through messages, files, and environmental clues to uncover hidden truths.
Tension: Stay out of sight and move carefully as an unseen presence begins to track your behaviour.
Fractured reality: Shift between familiar environments and warped liminal spaces shaped by Junko’s memories, where her memories and fears manifest.
BrokenLore Series: DON'T LIE is part of the “BrokenLore” series of games that can be played and enjoyed as a standalone story.
Wired Productions: Produced by psychological narrative specialists, Wired Productions - adding additional layers of narrative and depth, for a richer experience.

This is definitely one of the best ones in the franchise! Beautiful graphics and great story. Recommended for sure. https://youtu.be/Sn_6tuYUcYs
I have a strange obsession with BrokenLore games. Don’t Lie comes with a lot of explanations about the lore, and many pieces of BrokenLore finally start coming together, revealing fragments of the bigger picture and making the overall lore much clearer.
这一部讲围绕撒谎展开的,还是破碎怪谈的味道,出了门就和做梦一样,梦到什么关卡就做什么内容,今天晚上实在打不动了,改日再战,
I really liked the art style, especially the combination of stylized characters and more realistic environments, which creates a distinctive and unsettling visual identity. The story explores themes such as isolation, trauma, and a distorted perception of reality, while leaving several elements open to interpretation. The atmosphere is built effectively through its sound design, visual transitions, and steadily increasing tension, without relying solely on jump scares. It remains faithful to the BrokenLore style while still having a personality of its own. The only aspect I didn’t fully enjoy was the character’s movement speed, which felt a little too slow for my taste and made some exploration sections feel more tedious than necessary. Even so, it is an intense and worthwhile experience for anyone who enjoys psychological horror and dark narratives.
