It was funny watching the characters kept falling to their deaths.
Sim, eu recomendo!
Feels like they slapped a Walking Dead skin on an old mobile game and called it a day. Save your money and just watch the show instead.
Bridge Constructor franchise is deadly dead. Honestly I dont need to explain how terrible this game is, and you can just see that in their own trailer.
Обожаю ходячих... Но ненавижу строить мосты...
Instead of wasting your time playing this game, you should go outside and spend time on the grass or with your loved ones, you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ !
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, developed by ClockStone and published by Headup, is a strange yet surprisingly natural fusion of two seemingly incompatible worlds. It combines the cerebral, physics-based construction puzzles of the long-running Bridge Constructor series with the grim, post-apocalyptic setting of AMC’s The Walking Dead. At first glance, it might sound like an odd crossover—a calm, methodical building simulator paired with a franchise known for chaos, violence, and despair—but the result is a creative and challenging puzzle experience that successfully uses the undead apocalypse as a backdrop for inventive problem-solving. It doesn’t try to replicate the emotional storytelling or horror of the television series; instead, it uses the world’s tone and aesthetic to give its mechanical puzzles a darker and more humorous flavor. The gameplay follows the same principles that made the original Bridge Constructor games popular. Each level presents a scenario where survivors must cross a dangerous environment filled with obstacles, gaps, and of course, hordes of zombies. Your task is to construct bridges, ramps, and contraptions using a limited set of materials—wood, steel, cables, and other structural components—to ensure your characters can reach safety. Once the construction phase is complete, you switch to simulation mode, where physics takes over and determines whether your creation will hold or collapse under pressure. The twist in this installment comes from how The Walking Dead’s universe modifies these familiar mechanics. Now, your survivors can interact with the environment by triggering switches, detonating explosives, luring walkers into traps, or performing coordinated movements to survive. The presence of zombies adds an unpredictable layer to the puzzles, forcing you to think not just about structural integrity but about timing, sequencing, and even improvisational destruction. What makes Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead interesting is how it layers strategy and timing over its building mechanics. The survivors you guide are not passive elements; they can be directed to perform specific actions like climbing ladders, pushing containers, or activating mechanisms that affect both your construction and the walkers chasing them. Some levels encourage creativity through chaos—using collapsing bridges to crush zombies, triggering chain reactions of explosions, or constructing deliberately fragile platforms to bait the undead into their demise. The result is a puzzle system that feels more dynamic and alive than previous entries, mixing engineering logic with a touch of slapstick carnage. Watching a carefully designed bridge hold under pressure or collapse spectacularly is satisfying, but watching a horde of zombies tumble into a pit because of your clever setup adds an extra layer of grim delight. The visual and thematic presentation does a fine job of merging both worlds. The environments are rendered in a gritty, stylized way, evoking the decaying urban and rural landscapes familiar to fans of The Walking Dead. There’s a noticeable shift from the colorful, cartoony tone of earlier Bridge Constructor titles to something darker, though still accessible. The inclusion of characters from the series, such as Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Eugene, provides a sense of authenticity, even if they serve more as cameos than fully realized characters. Their dialogue and personality quirks inject occasional humor into the grim proceedings, though the writing and voice work can sometimes lean toward the exaggerated or awkward. Nevertheless, the game’s atmosphere works well; the tension between desperate survivors and relentless walkers gives even simple puzzles an undercurrent of urgency. In terms of difficulty and design, the game offers a solid range of challenges across its multiple chapters. The early stages ease players into the mechanics, focusing on stability and efficient use of materials, while later levels introduce multi-step puzzles that require precise timing and careful coordination between survivors and environmental hazards. Some levels can be deceptively complex, demanding experimentation and iteration as you refine your design to handle both weight distribution and walker interference. Success often comes through trial and error, and while this can be frustrating, it also captures the spirit of resourcefulness that defines both Bridge Constructor and The Walking Dead. The satisfaction of finally building a stable structure or executing a perfect plan that wipes out a horde while rescuing your survivors is immense. Technically, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead performs well and maintains the series’ clean interface and accessible controls. However, precision can sometimes be an issue, particularly on consoles where placing beams and cables with pinpoint accuracy can feel finicky. The physics simulation remains reliable and consistent, which is crucial for a game built around structural experimentation. Graphically, it’s modest but cohesive, and the darkened color palette and rugged art direction complement the setting. The sound design does its job with the groans of walkers, metallic creaks, and explosive effects, though it’s not particularly memorable. It’s clear that the focus here is on functionality and puzzle design rather than audiovisual spectacle, which fits the game’s low-key but polished style. Despite the crossover branding, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is less about survival horror and more about creative problem-solving under grim conditions. It doesn’t offer emotional storytelling or moral choices like the Telltale games set in the same universe, nor does it attempt to simulate the tension of fighting for survival. Instead, it approaches the apocalypse with a dry sense of humor and mechanical curiosity, turning disaster into a playground for ingenuity. Fans of The Walking Dead might find the connection somewhat superficial, but puzzle enthusiasts will find plenty of clever challenges to sink their teeth into. Its blend of calculated engineering and chaotic zombie mayhem creates a unique rhythm that keeps the experience fresh from start to finish. Ultimately, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead succeeds as both a clever genre experiment and a satisfying physics puzzle game. It captures the fun of its predecessors while layering on enough thematic flair to feel distinct. The combination of logic-based construction and macabre problem-solving results in moments of genuine creativity and amusement. While it may not appeal to those looking for a story-driven Walking Dead experience, it’s an excellent entry for players who enjoy testing their ingenuity and watching their ideas literally hold—or fall—under pressure. It’s a quirky but thoughtful crossover that turns an unlikely pairing into something oddly fitting, reminding players that even in the apocalypse, good engineering can still save the day. Rating: 7/10
Too linear for me, doesn't have any room for creativity which i think is the point in a bridge building game lol
