Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Decent Smash Bros. clone. Smooth animations, different moves, characters from other games like Hyper Light Drifter, Yooka-Laylee, Deadcells, Guacamelee, what's not to like? Music from aforementioned games. Only downside is limited number of characters. This one is actually good.
this has so much personality to it i love it so much
This game is good but i wish all the characters were oiled up and gagged

Brawlout is an energetic and unapologetically aggressive platform fighter that seeks to put its own spin on a genre long dominated by heavyweight franchises. Developed and published by Angry Mob Games, it positions itself as a faster, more offense-driven alternative to traditional platform brawlers, favoring constant movement and pressure over defensive play. From the moment a match begins, the game makes it clear that it wants players to stay on the attack, rewarding momentum, quick reactions, and confident execution rather than cautious spacing or turtling strategies. At the mechanical level, Brawlout follows familiar genre foundations: players battle on side-view stages, building damage percentages on opponents in order to launch them off the screen for knockouts. Where it diverges is in how it handles defense and flow. Traditional blocking is absent, placing greater emphasis on dodges, air movement, and precise positioning. This design choice pushes matches toward a relentless pace, where hesitation is often punished and aggression becomes the safest form of defense. Advanced movement options such as wavedashing, directional influence, and air dodging give experienced players room to express skill, while newcomers can still grasp the basics quickly thanks to responsive controls. The roster is one of the game’s strongest features, blending original characters with recognizable guest fighters from well-known indie titles. These crossover characters add personality and familiarity, while the original cast establishes Brawlout’s own identity. Each fighter is built around a clear archetype, whether it’s a heavy-hitting bruiser, a speedy rushdown specialist, or a more technical combo-focused character. The inclusion of character Variants, which alter stats and sometimes movesets, expands the roster’s functional size and encourages experimentation, even if some variants feel more impactful than others. In terms of content, Brawlout offers a standard suite of modes designed to support both solo and multiplayer play. Local multiplayer is clearly the centerpiece, delivering chaotic free-for-alls, team battles, and competitive one-on-one matches that shine best in couch-play settings. Online multiplayer extends these modes further, though the experience can vary depending on connection quality. Single-player offerings, such as arcade ladders and challenge-based trials, provide a way to learn characters and mechanics, but they are largely utilitarian rather than deeply engaging, serving as training grounds more than narrative or progression-driven experiences. Visually, the game adopts a bold, cartoon-inspired art style that emphasizes readability and motion. Characters are expressive and distinct, with animations designed to clearly telegraph attacks and movement despite the speed of combat. Stages are colorful and functional, though they tend to prioritize gameplay clarity over spectacle. While the presentation is polished enough to support competitive play, it lacks some of the visual flair and personality that help genre leaders feel iconic. The soundtrack complements the action with energetic themes, though it rarely leaves a lasting impression outside of matches. One of the more divisive aspects of Brawlout is its balance between accessibility and depth. The game is easy to pick up and immediately fun, especially in casual settings, but some players may find that its systems lack the nuance and long-term complexity needed to sustain deep competitive engagement. Certain characters and matchups can feel uneven, and the absence of more layered defensive mechanics reduces strategic variety. For players who enjoy constant forward momentum and high-pressure exchanges, this is a strength; for others, it can make matches feel repetitive over time. Ultimately, Brawlout is a confident, high-energy platform fighter that understands its niche and commits fully to it. It may not rival the polish, content breadth, or cultural impact of the genre’s biggest names, but it succeeds in delivering fast, aggressive combat that feels satisfying in both casual and semi-competitive play. Its best moments come from local multiplayer chaos, where quick rounds, explosive knockouts, and constant motion create an immediately enjoyable experience. For players looking for a streamlined, offense-focused alternative in the platform fighting space—especially those who value speed and momentum over defensive depth—Brawlout offers a solid and spirited entry that stands on its own terms. Rating: 7/10
i honestly dont know what to say about this game. its just another one of those smash bros clones that flopped. and this one flopped HARD. Its character roster is small but has some cool characters in there like Juan, the guy from dead cells and... idk, those are the only ones i know. the controls are bad and not easy to get used to. Just buy any other fighting game than this one. this game isnt really worth it. its abandoned "and i think we know why", its sucky, the only good characters are juan and dead cells guy and THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CONTROLS DONT MAKE IT ANY BETTER i do not recommend
コラボキャラとしてDead Cellsの主人公が使えるので神ゲー
Brawlout is bland and uninspiring, unlike the indie franchises its character roster features. Character controls feel floaty and funky, progression is artificially inflated and unrewarding with new characters simply being reskins and stages are downright atrocious to play at times. Do not bother with this game; you're better off getting Rivals of Aether if you want an alternative to the Smash Bros. and/or Brawlhalla experience.
don't. just don't. it sucks. its unbalanced. its visually cluttered. its not well thought out. its the kinda game where the devs just go "if it has wavedashing and a shine it must be a good platform fighter". "if we imitate rivals of aether enough surely the game will be good". play stardust valkyries. its not as popular and needs the support
English review: I recommend it, especially on sale and if you have friends to play with. Brawlout is very similar to other games in the genre, but it also has a pretty original and beautiful character and map design. It feels like a game made with care, and you can notice several nice details throughout the experience. Another strong point is performance. The game runs very well, is lightweight, looks good, and can reach very high FPS, which is great for this type of game. For local multiplayer, it is excellent. For online play with friends, joining matches and starting the game worked fine for me. The issue is more about ping instability during matches. I played with one friend and we had several moments of high ping, which caused the match to freeze or slow down, as usually happens in fighting games when the game is waiting for information. With another friend, however, we had almost no problems. Most of the time, the game ran smoothly, with only occasional ping spikes that quickly stabilized. The biggest downside is that the game is very unknown and basically has no active players. So if you are planning to find random online matches, you probably will not be able to. This is a game to play locally or with friends. Overall, I think Brawlout is a good game, made with a lot of care, with nice partnerships, interesting characters, good visuals, and great performance. The main issues are the possible ping instability when playing online and the lack of active players. I bought it with 90% off, and for that price, it was absolutely worth it.
