Brass Town Wrestling

I love games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. I also find professional wrestling interesting. I admit I have never watched it religiously, but I do enjoy the idea of it and I like games about it. I used to like games like WWE Smackdown vs. Raw back when that existed and I now like games like TEW where you manage a wrestling organization. I ran across this game on steam about a week ago, and was instantly interested. I have played a little less than an hour so far, but let me tell you, if the rest of the game is as good as it has been so far, it is a fantastic game! It perfectly blends together elements of professional wrestling, life-simulation like Stardew Valley, and RPG combat in the form of wrestling matches! The combat element seems a little show ATM, but I expect that is because I have not gotten far into the game yet. I think this is a wonderful game and an extremely unique idea, and if you like life simulation games and pro wrestling, this is a must own!

The game is a bit difficult to get used to but if you enjoy any rpgs or games like stardrew valley this will become one of your new favorite games. Really fun game although i feel the days and years are too short but apart from that its really good

As a fan of top down RPG games i was looking forward to trying this and was not disappointed. After an introduction to the town and the start of your career as a wrestler you are hooked on the games mechanics. Managing your day to day routines to ensure you have a good income to purchase cool stuff from the stores . I spent a lot of time doing errands to purchase my mortgage on the house. You can spend your time doing jobs and unlock new areas and items. When it comes to the serious business of smashing your opponent from the top turnbuckle the action and tactical wrestling is great. The varied way to fight and planning your moves and transitions means your matches are always entertaining. Really enjoying this game....i'm off to the Brass Town library to get some study in before my next big fight !

Hallo zusammen, bei dem Spiel handelt es sich um ein Real-Life-Spiel in dem man einen Jungen spielt, der ein Wrestlingstar werden will. Man muss essen, neben dem Wrestling Jobs erledigen, Beziehungen aufbauen usw.. Alles was man in dem Spiel macht hat Auswirkungen auf die Stats als Wrestler, sowie auf sein Fan-Status (Hell oder Face). Man kann verschiedene Gimmicks und Wrestilngstyles erlernen (welche je nach Auswahl verschiedene Boni bieten). Die Matches an sich sind taktisch geprägt und jeder Gegner hat andere Stärken und Schwächen, sodass man nicht immer die selben Moves aufjeden Gegner anwenden kann bzw. sich unterschiedliche Strategien einfallen lassen muss. Bis jetzt muss ich sagen macht das Spiel sehr viel Spaß, die Matches sind abwechslungsreich und der RPG-Part ist sehr gut mit dem Wrestlingelementen verknüpft. Sobald ich das Spiel durch habe, werde ich das Review nochmal anpassen. Bis jetzt ein Super Spiel für 10€ und definitiv jedem zu empfehlen, der Interesse am Wrestling hat.

Full disclosure I supported this game as a kickstarter backer. I love this game, its so addictive. The town really is alive and kicking and living there is amazing. I feel i have barely scratched the surface of what is possible. The combat starts very basic but quickly becomes a wonderful tactical game of how best to inflict damage on your opponents. Look at your opponent, what do you know about then, what tactics will work best, try them out and presto. I haven't been able to stop playing this game and I can't wait to see where it takes me!

Too much rpg, not enough wrestling. I am a fan of both rpg's and wrestling games, but there are precious few wrestling games out there and many rpg-maker rpg's. I played it for a while to finally get a chance to get into the ring, but to my disappointment I learned that either you or your friend must be eliminated from the game, the loser being out. I don't like that, since that does not remind me of wrestling. Some jobber wrestlers go for most of their careers without winning a match, but they keep their jobs by being entertaining. To me this is something like a simpler Stardew Valley with too many game-overs (1 is too many), and therefore I cannot recommend it.

The controls are a mess, no way to play it on ketboard

Super rad game. I really enjoy the entire journey. Highly recommended for any wrestling fan!

Edit Importante: non è esente dai suoi problemi, per esempio non posso creare nuove mosse ^^ Fate visita ai vostri amici malati, mi raccomando.. e provate, provate e riprovate.. a tratti è un gioco un po' criptico Lo stile è quello di Pokemon per gameboy (ah, quanto sono antico?) Diverse ore di allegria in scioltezza, alla fin fine.. Help/Aiuti: troppo pochi ingame (le wiki vanno bene, ma non devo essere costretto a cercare online per forza per capire il gioco), sarebbe un prodotto migliore se si capisse cosa fare (per Heel/Face ho dovuto cercare io, la "roba triangolare" non l'ho ancora capita, etc etc ); ho scoperto mezza città (sempre non me ne manchi altra, e forse si aprono cose in base a cosa fai? non ti viene detto) solo dopo aver finito il primo "campionato" Gameplay: il fatto che il tempo scorra per conto suo mi crea del disagio, ma ci si abitua a fatica.. così gira qui; il wrestling c'è con gli scontri che mi ricordano tanto quelli per catturare i pokemon di cui sopra; le "quest" così come sono inserite sono poco visibili, purtroppo, mancano indicazioni chiare in molte Grafica: visto che mi piacciono i Final Fantasy dei primordi, questo non delude Storia: ce n'è, e sarebbe pure carina.. forse troppo diluita e "nascosta" per i miei gusti, uno potrebbe cazzeggiare a vita senza capire che ci sono cose da vedere, da fare.. Prezzo: a prezzo pieno è accettabile, se scontato è meglio; in definitiva, mi piace.. temo di essere "costretto" a fare molte e molte prove prima di capire la metà di questo gioco.
