This GAME IS GARBAGE: when i saw this game it was ones Called Oort Online and i Loved it it was awesome to play explore and Adventure all around How ever i notes that the game has no Single play and i regretted it for buying it i was Hoped that this game would replace Minecraft but i was terribly wrong its a Joke and a Dumpster of a game and the biggest insult is that they changed the game from the beautifully Oort Online to the Dumb Boundless i didnt ask for MY games Name to be changed but those Scum of Devs did it anyway ♥♥♥♥ u Monumental LLC
Nice game, played before on ps4 and now started playing with my girlfriend on pc. really enjoying the gameplay. Dont understand why this game isnt booming with people..
If this game was free it would have absolutely exploded (and probably made more money from base builders than purchases). So many good systems; skills, building, shared areas. And GRAPPLING. I love Spider-Manning around. If they dropped a fat free update along with announcing it going free-to-play, I bet it'd trend immediately.
This is a really good game with a big comunity with alot of heart. I really wish the devs/new owners would pick it back up and start making updates and new developments. I havent spent alot of money in game yet, my friends pretty much spoil me with loads of gear so i havent had to. But i could totally see myslef spending more money especially if the devs start makeing new developments to it! :)
lots of fun

Boundless. What a sweet game it was. There's an eponymous adage in game design spaces - "Don't Design an MMO". This is the perfect example piece for why. Boundless is, essentially, a phenomenal game. I wish I was recommending it! There is immense mechanical depth, an excess of aesthetic direction, and I have a wealth of memories from my time playing this game. None of it is replicable anymore; the game needs an ongoing population to survive, and after 8 or so years, it's time in the sun is over. If you're reading this, I can't recommend buying and playing it - it'll be a barren desert simulator. But in it's prime? Oh, in it's prime ...
Dead game, original developers abandoned and sold it to monumental. Only empty promises. Game failed on launch with only ~1000 players. Currently there's like 30 people playing the game, not sure how many players are on playstation, but steam has only 30 players on steamdb. Game looks and plays good but there's not much to do really. Good looking sandbox but multiplayer only and multiplayer is dead as active players are only on the endgame planets you won't get to at start. Also I hate that you have to level up block placement speed, that seems ridicullous. I love the idea and I love the way the game keeps regenerating the unclaimed parts of the world over time, but that's about it. No bosses, no endgame except for meteor hunting. It's just a very good looking minecraft clone with 1/4 of the features. Old devs abandoned the game after it's first update (which was in 2020...) and new devs are probably looking for someone else to sell the game to. Last "big" announcment on boundless discord was an announcement of new game from monumental which got massively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on and so they deleted it and kicked the moderator who posted it from the discord lmfao. And then, except for annual events and a server rollback, nothing happened. Game is great in concept but every dev or studio that touched it is trying to get rid of it. Harsh truth. Do buy only if you have friends that are willing to actively play the game with you. BTW It is possible to rent your own server, basically your own planet that others are able to visit as well, but this process has to be done throught the boundless forums and is expensive to say at least. I think these servers are the last thing that keeps the game alive. I think I'm glad the game is still around and I kinda want to return to it sometime. But I can't recommend it in it's current state.
