WARNING! DO NOT BUY! The developer managed to rape and destroy a childhood icon. It's nearly impossible to FUBAR a boulderdash clone but this dev managed it It's so bad, and so incredibly NOT boulderdash, that I am actually going to look up the devs names and keep track of them so I don't accidentally buy a game by ANY studio that they work for
This is one of the first Games I Played on the C64 In The 80s...Its Even Better Now..Thank You
30th anniversary is true to the original ideas of Boulder Dash, which I played for a billion hours back in the day. There are new features that are all good. I have collected all 780 stars, NORMAL setting.
I feel like Im 10 again...
I've played Boulderdash on and off for well over 20 years.
The original was better. For some reason this version seems to have the time limit cut in half or worse. I always find myself rushing to finish the level before time runs out. I don't remember the original being like that.
Very good game. I like it.
Ez egy régi C64-es játék. Nagyon jó az, hogy elkészítették PC-re, azaz Steamre. Igazi kihívás a sok-sok pályát teljesíteni. Mindenkinek ajánlom, aki szereti az ilyen típusú játékokat.
Very good professional looking remake of the old classic. Somewhere close after 1984 I used to play Boulder Dash for Commodore 64. By that experince I knew also falling gem is lethal and I hated that feature. In this version it is not, which is a good update to the logic since you can collect those, it is only logical you can collect those as falling too. I can tell this game attracts children too who are used to mobile games and Minecraft. The most important thing this lacks to be much more entertaining is a local co-op of two players like there was in Emerald Mine for Commodore Amiga. Also I was disappointed I could not remap digital USB joystick to work with this. It just feels weird to play with keyboard or joypad. I wonder why there is no Steam Cloud save feature for this. To ensure your scores and progress are automatically saved in case of reinstall.
