Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced

Being a fan of the Borderlands series i started playing Borderlands 2 but of course this isn't a review on 2 this is the first game and of course it is as good as the 2nd game, ♥♥♥♥ no. There are flaws, difficulty curve can be a ♥♥♥♥♥, guns in this game hare about as big a magazine as Robert Kennedy has brain cells, and the side quests are boring go here, grab this, summon a boss. And of course there is very minimal voice acting. So why did i recommend this game? Well in the modern day this game is good, it works and being the first in the series i knew it wasn't gonna be a triple A game. I came in expecting it to be a lot like Fallout 1. A game that is overly difficult but only because the game was made like that, not because of some bug or because the developer decided that a good boss was a bullet sponge with 10000000 attack(looking at you PsychoReaver). If you are someone who likes Ray tracing, makes your computer tear up, graphics, don't get this game. Get this game if you are a fan of Borderlands and come into this game with the reminder that this was made by 2 college students on a drunk friday like all good businesses start. It's gun game is good and honestly that's good enough for me.

Dobra gra - co prawda moim zdaniem, w pełni można się nią cieszyć mając towarzystwo do gry, bo granie solo może momentami trochę nużyć ale jest to początek naprawdę ciekawej serii. Wracam chwilami, próbując w końcu ukończyć tytuł.

played this games most of my life (20) I've always found my self coming back its dated but good and plays even better on pc then my xbox 360

The birth of the loot shooter. This game set itself apart by employing cartoony like graphics in a time where realism was king. The desolate, wasteland environment of Pandora really served as a fantastic tool for the storytelling and generating the bizarre atmosphere which became a hallmark of the later titles. Borderlands seems to also relish in crude humor and macabre character design. Throw in a fantastic soundtrack with a western/outback vibe and put it all together and you have a fantastic game which spawned a franchise.

Love that I can play this with my husband now, instead of just watching him.

Game doesn't launch and says missing package core, tried every way to fix it but no dice, stick to the original if you can!

O gameplay é divertido até o momento em que se torna repetitivo, transformando-se em uma sucessão de variações da mesma ação: matar inimigos ou coletar itens. Além disso, o tempo de jogo é artificialmente inflado por longos deslocamentos entre as áreas. Em determinado momento, a performance do jogo cai drasticamente, e nem mesmo as conquistas sincronizam corretamente. Apesar de tudo, é um bom jogo.

I will say this game is fun to play but i would say play a couple times a week so you don't get burn outs
