I know this game gets a lot of flack for performance, but honestly, performance is the least of your problems. It's a drudge through some of the blandest, most formulaic, uninspired slogfest of a story ever. The millennial humor wore out decades ago but the mofos didn't get the memo it would seem, so you're just waiting and waiting and waiting, while the mediocre character spout their trite dialogue so you can play a two minute fetch quest or your four millionth "clear the room of three waves" so you can listen to more uninspired trite writing. It doesn't end. I got about a third of the way through the game and I just gave up, not like I chose to quit the game, I simply finished yet another bland session and the next thing I know it's been weeks and I've not even touched it, and that's I feel the worst thing a game can do, not make you quit, but rather make you forget about it. I don't recommend this in the slightest, I apparently played it for 34 hours, and I felt nothing.

Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly as someone whose been a massive fan of the series (Pre-sequel, BL2, are where i started.) I cannot help but feel while yes the story is a step forward form BL3, mostly everything else is just, okay. Having almost every mission be a grapple fest definitely is not the most fun mechanic. On top of that I cannot recommend this game, even as someone who has a 5070. This game runs like ♥♥♥♥, I have tried every pack since the first DLC. In hopes i could come back to play the game and "enjoy" endgame. When the Devs say "we hear your concerns and we are taking your support into consideration" is nothing but a slap in the face. This game has been out almost a full year, yet they have been able to release 9 DLC content packs, without proper fixes to the games engine on pc. ♥♥♥♥ you gearbox, your not getting another $ out of me.
Deluxe Edition doesnt get you the season pass lmao, what a greedy dogass company. Zero Raid bosses on launch and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "DLC" thats just 5 missions and a vault hunter locked behind the DLC paywall. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business practices ruining a ton of potential.
i like this game because it is cool and i like all the weapons.

just enjoy the game for it is, theres always going to be things you dont like about games, once you stop thinking about it and just playt the game, do the content, it becomes fun
well it's a bad Borderlands game, but it's a decent Firefall sequel. fails to maintain any of the design choices that made the series stand out and satisfying, leaning way too hard into sci-fi aesthetic while somehow losing any feeling of alien exploration as the world has grown dim and uninteresting. Mechanics that were slowly doled out to the player are suddenly thrust upon you, like the game is impatient with it's own delivery, 2 hours in and I have all weapon slots unlocked and multiple traversal techniques and none of it feels interesting or earned. UI elements are cluttered and illegible, skill trees look amateurish, enemies are almost never distinguishable from their environment. Without even touching on performance (don't even get me started, it's actually embarrassing how poor this runs, shame on you) my issues with design choices run deep. The choice to replace stat descriptions with symbols, instead of making information more immediate, requires you to convert the meaning in your head when comparing items instead of the game just telling you. It is the type of choice that you can feel a manager making without understanding the player experience and why things are done they way they are, you have to actually consider the experience instead of the aesthetics. It's genuinely baffling how we got here from what I consider to be my gold standard FPS series from a satisfaction of design standpoint. I wasn't kidding with the Firefall comparison though. Look up gameplay from that old failed MMO and compare to gameplay from previous Borderlands games and tell me this doesn't have more in common with that game. From UI to world design to armor aesthetics to creatures to environment, it's like the copycat became the copied, it's bizarre and disappointing. All in all there is a long line of poor choices that led to the creation of this game obviously, and I'm unsure if the series is salvageable in it's current hands, but I sincerely hope there is reflection and honesty from the studio if there's a chance of them turning around in the future (hey, a boy can dream right?) (Excuse the wall of text, but at least this mountain of dissatisfaction has motivated me even more to commit my ideas to reality and make a better looter shooter than this, coming soon to a Gamestop near you)
The Game is Poorly optimized and seems to crash contstantly. I own most games being released these days and this is the only game I cant play due to it crashing. I have tried next to everything i know of to try and fix it myself, so i can at least beat the campaign but was unable to.
Still incredibly laggy and takes forever to load up each time, gameplay is otherwise fun but massively hindered by performance.
Comprei o jogo pela Eneba já sabendo que ele tinha problemas de otimização. Pensei: "Relaxa, daqui a alguns meses eles consertam." Quase 1 ano depois do lançamento, descobri que o problema aparentemente faz parte da experiência. Borderlands 4 não usa DLSS e Frame Generation como tecnologias para melhorar o desempenho. Ele sobrevive graças a elas.
