Devs abandoned this port, can be very buggy at times, lack of cloud saves is absolutely nuts, however i still enjoy this game and port, but i cannot recommend it unfortunately
This is just a testement to how greedy some game Developers are. it would have so easy for them to encorperate controls and aiming that makes sense and actually works. But no , they put this peace of trash out just for a money grab . Its basically unplayable with how bad the controls are and your bullets go about 3 feet to the left of where you are aiming. This is trash. Dont get it. .....word to Devs. can you please fix this ????
I thought Borderlands 2 was chaotic already. VR proved me wrong. Borderlands 2 VR is the same loot-filled madness, except now everything is in your face and actively trying to overwhelm you. Guns feel wild, enemies feel closer than they should be, and explosions are suddenly a personal problem. The shooting is fun, the world looks great in VR, and Handsome Jack talking directly at you feels slightly threatening. Inventory management is still a thing, just now you’re doing it while wearing a headset. If you love Borderlands and want to experience it in the most intense way possible, this is great. If you get motion sickness or value personal space, maybe not. Loot hits different in VR.
Controls are ATROCIOUS. The concept is great for Borderlands because who tf wouldnt want to play it in VR? But again, the thing that killed it for me (in a bad way) was CONTROL. I bought it on sale and it was a good idea I did given I also just learned it doesnt come with Multiplayer and some of the original DLC. Not worth $50 or even $20. Someone got greedy and was like, "Lets scam our fans into thinking they can functionally play one of the best FPS in history but in VR. >=)" Make an update that makes the controls better, add the DLCs,and ill change my review.
Controls or lack there of for Quest 3 make it unplayble.
Please god tell me this will be fixed for the steam frame
Okay so I played Borderlands 2 VR on the Playstation VR and it was an awesome experience. I got this game on PC looking for the same thrill.. I mean it's there but like, this game has one huge flaw it never addressed... The crosshair lies to you. Your aiming reticle is off center with where you're actually shooting so you can imagine how bad sniper rifles are here unless you mentally calculate how far off you need your reticle should be to hit your shot, but at that point?? I'm just going to play Borderlands 2. I wish I didn't need to refund this game as I own the Pandora's Box collection (for dirt cheap too!) and now I'm never going to complete the entire Borderlands collection with this game mocking me from the distance... Not that I care, I already experienced this game before. And still can. But man, all they needed to do is fix this ONE issue and I would probably play through this one to completion. and yes I did look up fixes for this but nothing worked for me so I just thought it'd be easier to just refund the game and get my money back.
the only bad part is that it uses controls from when dinosaurs roamed the earth and when you take off the headset you see the world in 2k
Fun to play. If you enjoyed the original Borderlands 2, then this will increase the fun of the game by a lot. In VR you will get a better sence of scale for the game. Whould highly recomend if you like vr and Borderlands.
