Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Are you afraid of heights?
Now is the perfect time to face that fear and overcome it.
Boom Buddy is a fast-paced arcade game where your goal is to save a boy who's falling straight into the hands of dangerous enemies. His only chance of survival? Two connected suction cups that help him stick to the walls and slow his descent. Time your moves precisely, react quickly, and grab onto the walls before it’s too late.
But the fall won't be easy. You'll face a series of tricky traps and unpredictable obstacles that can throw you off course. If you react fast and anticipate the dangers, you’ll find a way through. It’s just like using a parachute—open it at the right time and you live. Miss your moment, and it’s game over.
With each level, the challenge increases, testing your reflexes, timing, and focus. Will you be able to guide the boy to safety?

A fun cartoon platformer with dynamic gameplay. Bright graphics, funny characters, but the levels are sometimes repeated. 7/10.

I jumped higher than I could see, sometimes luck, sometimes reaction, sometimes crooked fingers, and the keyboard shattered, thanks for a healthy psyche
Отличная аркада. Простое управление, затягивающий геймплей и море адреналина — рекомендую всем любителям динамичных игр.
A dynamic and exciting game with excellent graphics and addictive gameplay. Great entertainment that keeps you on your toes. I really liked it!
Boom Buddy takes a simple arcade concept and builds its entire challenge around gravity, timing, and careful reactions. Developed by ODYSA GAMES and published by ODYSA Games, it puts players in control of a boy descending through hazardous environments while relying on two connected suction cups to grab nearby walls. Rather than giving the player conventional platforming abilities, the game turns controlling a fall into its primary mechanic. The result is an unusual approach that is immediately understandable but becomes increasingly demanding once obstacles begin appearing in more difficult arrangements. The suction cups are the heart of the experience. Players use them to catch walls, interrupt dangerous falls, reposition themselves, and avoid threats encountered during the descent. Because gravity is constantly working against the character, success depends on knowing exactly when to grab onto a surface and when to release. Poor timing can quickly transform a manageable situation into an unavoidable failure. The limited control scheme keeps the game accessible, yet the increasing need for precision gives it enough mechanical depth to prevent the concept from feeling completely effortless. There are 50 levels to overcome, with the difficulty increasing as players advance. Early stages provide an opportunity to become comfortable with the unusual movement system, while later sections demand faster reactions and more accurate positioning. Falling traps and other dangers make it necessary to watch the environment carefully instead of simply descending as quickly as possible. The strongest moments occur when a seemingly troublesome sequence becomes manageable after several attempts. This creates a familiar arcade cycle of failure, adjustment, and eventual success. One appealing quality is how little time the game requires before the player can understand what needs to be done. There are no complicated combat systems, large inventories, or elaborate character statistics competing for attention. Most of the challenge comes directly from interacting with the environment. That simplicity makes Boom Buddy suitable for short sessions, although players who become invested in improving their performance can spend considerably longer mastering its tougher stages. The straightforward mechanics also mean that difficulty is largely determined by execution rather than knowledge of complicated rules. Progression includes six unlockable character skins. These cosmetic rewards do not fundamentally alter how the character behaves, but they provide an extra incentive for completing challenges and continuing through the level sequence. A more substantial collection of unlockables could have added greater long-term motivation, especially for players interested in replaying completed stages. Still, the restrained progression system matches the game's intentionally compact nature. It concentrates on its central gameplay idea rather than surrounding it with unnecessary systems. The presentation similarly favors clarity over spectacle. Boom Buddy has a colorful and approachable arcade identity that contrasts nicely with the potentially unforgiving nature of its hazards. Its lightweight technical requirements also make it accessible to modest Windows computers. With only a small amount of storage required and relatively undemanding hardware specifications, this is not a game that expects a high-end gaming PC. That makes its quick, uncomplicated style particularly appropriate for players looking for something that can be installed and played without a major hardware commitment. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best considered Unverified rather than officially confirmed as Verified or Playable. The lightweight hardware demands suggest that performance itself should not necessarily be the largest concern, but the absence of an official Steam Deck compatibility rating means handheld users should not assume a completely trouble-free experience. Control behavior, interface presentation, and Proton compatibility can all matter independently of raw system requirements, so Deck owners should approach it as an unverified title rather than one specifically optimized for Valve's handheld. Its greatest weakness is repetition. Since so much of the experience revolves around descending, catching walls, releasing at the correct moment, and avoiding hazards, players who do not connect with the core mechanic are unlikely to find enough secondary systems to change their opinion. The 50-level structure provides a respectable amount of challenge for such a focused concept, but variety depends primarily on obstacle arrangements and increasing difficulty rather than constant introduction of entirely new gameplay ideas. Repeated failures during demanding sections can also become frustrating for anyone with little patience for precision-based arcade games. As a compact arcade experience, however, Boom Buddy has a clear identity. Its unusual suction-cup movement creates a recognizable hook, while the escalating stages make good use of a mechanic that initially appears extremely simple. The game works best for players who enjoy short levels, repeated attempts, reflex challenges, and the satisfaction of gradually mastering difficult movement patterns. It does not attempt to provide a sprawling adventure or complex progression system, and that narrow scope should be considered before jumping in. Within those boundaries, it delivers an accessible idea with enough challenge to make completing its later stages feel rewarding. Boom Buddy is a straightforward but distinctive reflex-driven arcade game whose suction-cup mechanics give its vertical obstacle courses an entertaining personality. Greater mechanical variety and deeper progression could have improved its longevity, but its accessible controls, 50-stage challenge, modest hardware requirements, and escalating difficulty make it a worthwhile choice for players who enjoy precision and persistence. Rating: 7/10
