Looks Good

Don't buy this game unless you want to sit through 1 hour of genuinely interesting, sometimes challenges puzzles and then 2 solid hours of repetitive, visually uninteresting MATH No, I'm not kidding For some reason after 5 books of good art, puzzles and themeing, (the medieval one is the best by far for all 3 of those), you then have to look at the same grey squares on a white background while dragging numbers to fill in other grey squares, which are buggy as hell at the best of time. I like basic math as much as the next guy, but having to figure out negatives and multiply fractions just to get the number 24 TWENTY FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES is mind numbing at best, game closing at worst.

At the start it seems like a really cute and cozy game but it turns into a headache after like 3 books. I was really excited to play this game since I loved a little to the left, but i was sadly disappointed if i want to be honest. Some levels are buggy as hell, even thought you have everything right it won't let you move on unless you do the whole thing again. If you like math and stuff go ahead and buy it.

And here we present to you a small collection of various types of puzzles, divided into six books each focused on a theme, with beautiful art and all the time the player needs to be able to relax while trying to solve them, some of them with more than one way to solve them, and the vast majority of them are light and relaxing fun. ^^ [b]Pros:[/b] + Various types of puzzles divided into six groups according to the theme of the books. + Very cute and beautiful arts. + All the time the player needs to solve and relax. + The vast majority are very easy to learn and understand how to complete. [b]Cons:[/b] - Unfortunately, there is the group of math puzzles, which, along with the fifteen-piece puzzle, I didn't find at all enjoyable or fun. - Sometimes I had difficulty figuring out what could be moved or not, like in a phase where we have to organize the statues but also the shadows. [h1] Game mechanics[/h1] This is how the little adventure begins, quite simple but fun, with the player choosing any of the six books in the order they want to start solving them, without having to follow any specific order. Each book has a series of small puzzles of various types, some of which involve organizing by color, shape or size, others of which involve placing the items in the right order, others of which involve organizing the groups, among many others, including even a Sudoku level. I found most of them relaxing, but I confess that some of them gave me a little more work, especially the ones with more than one way to solve them in order to get all the stars. ^^ [h1] Art and sound[/h1] The art is undoubtedly one of the highlights, produced by the Simple Touch studio. I found all the art in the books very cute, especially because each one of the books and their respective puzzles have a central theme. I really liked it, with the exception of the math book, which I found very simple and somewhat cold, looking like a calculator. As for the music, nothing stands out, the soundtrack is good and pleasant to listen to, very relaxing, but it doesn't take long for it to start repeating itself. ^^ [h1] Conclusion[/h1] Looks Good is a very simple and fun game that gave me a few good hours, forgetting about stress and just relaxing trying to find the solution to the puzzles. I confess that some of them weren't very effective, like the ones involving math questions, or the game of fifteen which I was never good at, but even so I had much more enjoyable moments than the opposite. It's not an amazing game that you'll see at the top of a recommended list, but it certainly does its job of being a light game, with beautiful art and very relaxing. ^^

Those who have discovered this after enjoying A Little To The Left and are craving more - proceed with caution and prepare for disappointment. My cravings for more cute, relaxing organising puzzles got the better of me, and so I caved and bought this. Where Left's puzzles were engaging, intuitive and charming, Look Good misses on all these, instead offering unclear, misguided confusion in a most unsatisfactory way. Hold off of buying this, and hope for more DLC from it's superior counterpart instead.

This game is the definition of "meh". At first it starts out good but after a while the levels are either boring or tedious. Also there seems to be a bug where you will end up having to restart a level after doing it correctly because it wont register and let you continue, which is really annoying. The soundtrack is meh too.

24 was my favorite number when I started this game. Now, I am not so sure.
