You are John T. Longy, a night-watchman at JUPITER, a secret base, set in an old, partially abandoned research facility in a remote countryside location. JUPITER is the main laboratory of the OLYMPUS GROUP. The scientists there are conducting research on SPACE and TIME, but perhaps there is more to the experiments than meets the eye…

画面灰蒙蒙的像套了层膜!而且解谜也好复杂的感觉~ 重点没汉化看不懂~提示也很少···不喜欢解谜类还是算了吧···
Unfortunately, even when this broken mess works properly, it's still frustrating to play in terms of design and controls. It's a shame, because the aesthetic is interesting.
Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space is a sincerely made first person adventure game with a quirky 1950's sci-fi plot involving time travel, robots, zombies, and of course, Earth being invaded by eyeball aliens. Following on with the tropes, you play a hapless security guard who must bumble through puzzles and minigames and some FPS segments to get out of the whole mess. It's a winning concept, and the core game design is really well done. The game assets are of reasonable quality, no low poly/retro pixel copouts or shortcuts there. The voice acting is a bit derpy, but that's fitting with the theme. But I can't give this a thumbs up, there's a few really serious problems that just get in the way of this being the awesome game it should be. Surprisingly, with all the thousands of reviews I've written (and thousands of very poor quality games), the usual culprits aren't the problems here. The first thing, that really kills this game for me, is the postprocessing. Everything is really glary, oversaturated, it looks almost like one of those really awful photos when HDR was first introduced on consumer cameras and boomers would dial it up to 11. It's actually painful on the eyes to play this for too long. I mucked around with every setting I could, but looking at Youtube let's plays, it seems this is both deliberate and unavoidable. It kind of sucks to see so much effort go into a game, and then at presumably the last minute, the developer decided everything should look ugly and hard on the eyes. It's a dealbreaker for me. Secondly, and a lot of people have complained about this so it's not just me, the control scheme is a convoluted, bungled mess that seems like it was designed for mobile phones? Or consoles? Or Sony PSP? I have no idea, but the inventory system, interaction system... it's so unintuitive and messy. This also makes the game really unpleasant to play. This leads to another problem... there's FPS sections to the game (not that difficult) but these are really janky too, maybe because of elements of that control system. The game could probably use more of that to pad out the content (you can finish the game in less than 2 hours), but only if it was implemented properly. Finally, very annoyingly, the game is just unpolished and buggy to all hell. Alt + Tabbing back into the game often causes a crash (you need to switch to another desktop to kill the game process to get your PC back). Picking stuff up will sometimes cause a UI lock where you can move around but you can no longer interact with the inventory, so you'll be stuck holding something, and you'll just have to load a saved game to recover. Really game breaking bugs there. If the defects in the game were fixed up, the FPS was better (and therefore, more of it would be welcome), and content was padded out a bit, this would easily be a triple-A smash, but after finishing the game I'm just disappointed a great concept and a lot of great work was wasted due to a few not-so-huge issues that could have been avoided. Oh well. Unfortunately there's no "maybe" options for Steam reviews, I can't recommend this in light of the defects.
I really wanted to like this game, but it has too many issues for me to give it a vote of confidence. First and foremost, this game is built by a single dev, so a lot of minor issues can be forgiven, but my experience (and it looks like many people's experience) with this game was too egregious to forgive. In the 60 mintes I played this game, these are the issues I ran into: - Items deloading - Reseting the game, reloading saves, or any other form of forcing the game to reload an area failed to resolve any issues - Soft Locked while attempting to use an interaction, online discourse shows that this is a common problem that has yet to be resolved that requires you to fix your game files to proceed - When I attempted to close the game using the built in quit function on the main menu, it froze my entire machine and prevented Task Manager from force closing the process. I had to reset my computer to close the process These are just the technical issues I ran into, the actual game has issues as well. One major issue is a lack of tutorialization. I've played hundreds of games so far, including many "adventure" style games where you solve puzzles by interacting with the environment, so I'm not unacustomed to how these games work; however, the way this game engages in interactions is inconsistent, and it should have had some form of tutorial to resolve this issue. What I'm referring to precisely is this, all actions you take in the game happen immediately when you left-click. To choose your form of interaction, you use the scroll wheel to choose from the available actions. The one time this is not the case is when you want to combine items together (or use an item on another item in any way). In this case, you left-click not to engage in the interaction, but to enter a new interaction state that now allows you to use items on other things. This is a problem in the first area, because you need to use a rope on a vending machine to proceed, but each time I tried it failed, until I found that I had not actually used the items together. On top of that, each time you want to try using an object on something else, you have to re-enter the "use" state, and if you attempt to do things too quickly (like double clicking) the game will fail to capture your action and ignore it. This leads to a frustrating and slow experience. Aside from that, the game generally fails at making important items obvious, so you either have to click on everything in the environment, or use the "Hint" button to highlight everything you can interact with. One side makes it tedious, and the other makes it mindless. However, even when you're using the hint button, it's easy to miss important pieces, as you will highlight an entire object, but only one small piece of the object matters (like a lamp being highlighted, but only the bulb of the lamp matters) Between the piss performance and gameplay issues, I'm not really sure what reason there is to engage with this game.
Broken glitchfest, bad from every angle from graphics and controls to design etc. Hey mom look, im a game developer too!
I remember wanting to play this but my computer couldn't run it. I'll trust my old judgement and .1 hours of play time.
