normally i dont write reviews. as a dutch person who likes strategy games i cant recomend this game enough. the humor might not be for everyone but i genuinely found my self laughing tho it is very dutch coded and might not be to dry for some people. the game is very heart felt with a suprisingly thought out battle system which i can only really discribe as checkers but better. also the music is great and fun. standouts for me are frogtime, in to deep and familee.

So tempted to leave a negative review, as an otherwise fantastic game is ruined by a terrible final boss.

What an incredibly wholesome and funny game! The game consists of two elements: First, walking around, talking to people and exploring (brings back memories of [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/481510/Night_in_the_Woods/]Night In The Woods[/url] or [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/530320/Wandersong/]Wandersong[/url] ). Second, Frogtime, a neat tactical boardgame that is used to solve all conflicts in the game's world. These matches are the equivalent of jrpgs encounters. Frogtime is simple and complex enough to never get boring or too overwhelming. But the best thing are the voice actors. The characters are so full of personality and so likeable, that it's a joy to listen to the dialogues. And while there are some serious themes in the game, it always feels lighthearted which is nice in a time where it seems like every game has to involve some kind of trauma.
