I hope GTA 6 is like this. What a masterpiece.
Real quick, lets take away the nsfw elements. What do we have left? The most atmospheric open world game of the 2020s. I had to pause the game I was laughing so hard at one point, something I haven't gotten from a game in idk a decade. Incredible, I cannot believe this exists.
This is a good classic game ruined by bad optimization. You would think that a game from 2008 would run smoothly in today's standards, GTA Definitive Edition ahh type game. Until they fix this horrible optimization, this review will stay as is and it is recommended to buy the base game and DLC when discounted, this is not worth the original price as of yet.
This is the most offensive game I have ever played And I loved it. Gameplay is a bit clunky and very "early 2000's ish". Don't play on hard mode, you gain nothing playing on hard. Its hard Tips for playing: Steal bodies at any opportunity to make yourself better. Heal with oral or butt. Beat people up for money, as much as possible. This is also how you can find better bodies to steal.
no love or romance just fornication i dont feel anything
You can skip Expedition 33 this is the RPG we need.
A Bone-a-Fide Classic: My Review of BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition (And why my therapist is very confused) My Review: 10/10 (Would lose all my dignity again) Look, I'm not gonna lie. When I first booted up BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition, I was skeptical. I thought, "How can a game that uses 'Balls' as a literal in-game currency and a character stat be any good?" Then I saw my health was restored by... well, you know. I was sold. This isn't just a game; it's a social experiment on what happens when you cross Grand Theft Auto's open-world chaos with a script seemingly written by an angry 14-year-old South Park fan who just discovered the word "penis." The graphics are exactly what you'd expect from a game that prioritizes anal sex stats over ray tracing—which is to say, wonderfully, beautifully terrible. It's like a low-budget 2008 time capsule that someone just polished with a microfiber cloth and a prayer. Key Features and My Highly Professional Take The Fighting: I love that my primary weapon for settling disputes is often a dildo or a mannequin leg. Forget swords and plasma rifles; I'm here to beat up a guy who may or may not be Jesus with an oversized marital aid. The combat is clunky, sure, but who needs fluid combos when you can shoot lightning out of your butt after chugging some whiskey? Pure, unadulterated tactical genius. The "Missions": The "story" is an absolute, chaotic fever dream. One minute you're trying to overthrow a shadowy organization called "The Man Inc.," and the next, you're competing in a "Hogging Contest." It makes absolutely zero sense, and that is its greatest strength. It’s the kind of plot cohesion you get when you ask an AI to generate a story based on the three most offensive words it knows. The Drugs: In any other game, you take a potion for an invincible buff. In BoneTown, you snort a line of virtual crack to run faster. Weed lets you jump higher. This is not a subtle game. It leans into its 'controversial' status so hard it practically falls over, and you have to respect the commitment. I now instinctively look for a patch of Peyote when I need to clear a difficult platforming section. The 'Second Coming' Upgrades: They added more voice acting and better textures. Does it make the game look good? No. But now the thousands of unique, procedurally generated NPCs can all insult me with even greater voice variety! Plus, the new customization features mean I can truly make my avatar look like a stoner billionaire who has just given up on life. Thank you, D-Dub Software, for this invaluable role-playing experience. In Conclusion If you go into BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition expecting a good video game, you will be disappointed. If you go into it expecting a hilarious, hyper-juvenile, intentionally offensive trainwreck of bad taste that you can't believe exists on Steam, you will be rewarded. It is the cinematic masterpiece The Room of open-world action-adventure games. It's so bad, it’s genuinely amazing. I'm leaving this review here so my family knows exactly what kind of degenerate I am. Pro-Tip: Remember that having big "Balls" is the key to seduction, so prioritize that anal sex stat upgrade. Don't ask me how or why. Just play the game. Oh and you can bang black chicks!
This game falls in the "has been" category. it was cool back in 2008 when it was released. In fact, in my opinion, they had the perfect recipe back then. I bought it thinking it would be easier to play the Steam version then trying to install the original game again to scratch that itch. I was wrong. The graphic are still dated, but I don't mind because I know the game was originally released in 2008. Where I mind is the pack of lie from D-DUB trying to persuade the customer it's a new game. Well, it's not. Not only it's not new, but aside from including tons of useless DLC, some more or less useless content, and generally enshitifying the maps, they actually did nothing to improve the game. While they had the perfect recipe back in 2008, they changed it instead of capitalizing on it. They should have improved the graphics, included new maps rather than changing the actual ones. This new build is neither fun nor interesting. Most of the maps are now literally littered with junk and for some of them, the themed changed and the new maps make no sense. I used to like the map where satan is located, he was surrounded by fanatics, it's no longer the case and the new "residents" make no sense. Aside from that, the map is now a psychedelic bad trip, so much so that I went there once, did the quest, stole weapon and personas and never look back. The pygmy area used to be relaxing and kinda cool, now it's perpetual source of combat which precludes looking for chicks, items, or just doing the quests. As a final comment, they took a perfect product and tried to capitalized on it, but all they succeeded in doing is to destroy it. Stay away, it no longer is worth it. They probably could sell more units if they provided the old version along with the new. === Update === The rest of this review is no longer a review but instruction on how to install the original version of BoneTown. I went ahead and reinstalled my original 1.0.4 version and applied the 1.1.1 patches on top. On Windows 10 64 bits, this works perfectly, so I am able to scratch that itch once again. 1- Make sure the windows account that will be used for playing the game is an administrative account for installation purposes. Don't use run as administrator since the context is different. 2- Proceed to the installation of the game and follow with the patch. 3- If you have Steam's Bonetown installed and you played it, go to %appdata% and rename the BoneTown directory to something else like BoneTown.Steam. Both version uses the same directory to save the games and store temp data, since the file format changed, the original game won't start if you don't rename that directory. 4- Start the game and adjust the options. Quit the game. 5- If at step one you granted the account admin privileges, remove the account from the administators group. 6- You're all set and can enjoy the original game in a plain user environment.
