♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game dont play it. too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glitched
At the moment this game is quite cancerous to play and I wouldn't recommend it in its current state for the following reasons > its dark as hell and items are small as ♥♥♥♥ making it hard to see where they are > the only flashlight I found was on the pistol (and I guess they are only on weapons?) > my flash button stopped working and I couldn't see where throatslicer6000 was running around at > my gun stopped working once > key finding sim > the tormentor dude dipped out randomly during my gameplay and wasn't seen again > my guy literally phases through a closed door even though he's not a ghost? > overreliance on jumpscare insta kills > if you save your game and die it will send you back to the beginning rather than your save Another thing like this guy running around fast as hell could be turned down a tad bit too since before this guy glitched out in my gameplay it is a bit hard to really explore anything before getting a saw to your neck. Overall though I would say wait until the game gets further updates to anyone wanting to buy this https://youtu.be/6rjdxDLtM7w
Bonefield is a bodycam-style horror game developed by RedRocksGS where you play as a private investigator sent to look into a whistleblower report in a troubled town. What starts as an investigation quickly turns into a fight for survival, as you’re stalked by hostile entities, scavenging for weapons and information while trying to survive long enough to get out. Pros ✔️ Good asset selection – The environments and props are well chosen and help sell the setting without feeling completely mismatched. ✔️ The storytelling is a neat touch – Relying on radios and recordings to convey parts of the story works well with the bodycam perspective. ✔️ The bodycam horror idea is solid – As a concept, it’s still a really effective way to build tension and unease. Cons ❌ The inventory UI isn’t great – It’s clunky and actively gets in the way during tense moments. ❌ Too many visual effects at once – Between the bodycam overlay, flashlight effects, and other visual filters, it becomes overwhelming instead of immersive. ❌ Feels more derivative than distinct – A lot of ideas felt borrowed from other games rather than built into something that feels uniquely its own. Conclusion I went in with fairly high expectations based on the trailer, but actually playing it made it clear that this isn’t quite there yet. There’s potential here, and some of the ideas do work, but the overall experience felt unfinished and unfocused. I don’t think it’s a lost cause, and I’m willing to give it another shot once it’s further along in development, but right now I’d recommend waiting until it’s out of early access and more fully realized. Score 4/10 Static Feed — A strong concept that needs more time before it’s worth tuning in.
I was unsure about trying this game at first, the negative reviews felt vague and some of the positive ones seemed a bit off. But I was pleasantly surprised. The game has more depth than it first appears, and what’s already here is genuinely scary. The sound design is extremely immersive and really sets the tone. If I had one complaint, it’s that the first episode doesn’t have a very definitive ending; it just kind of stops. But I’m confident more content is coming, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
Solid first chapter. I wish there was more though.
Spooky
Really good, but confusing at times.
While the concept of the game is fantastic. I did actually enjoy how the game felt. What I think are areas of improvement are so far it feels like a key hunting simulator. And I feel there are some issues with the flash mechanics, if you are standing in a doorway it becomes almost impossible to see in front of you. Because it washes your screen out so much. Also because the flashing is so few and far between the speed of the zombie, humanoid, things, I feel is way too fast. If they had a slower pace so that you were allowed to react to them properly it would feel a lot more fair. If it is behind you, you are dead, period. As it currently stands I believe this game is not worth its purchase but I can see where it could go. And hopefully it will be there someday.
