The saying goes: ‘too many chefs spoil the broth’, and in this case, perhaps ‘too many genres spoil the game’. In some ways, this mish-mash of genres actually works pretty well; in others, much less so. It’s good and all to experiment and blend things together to craft a fine mix, much like cocktails; however, even for the most experienced studios, never mind an Indie one on their first Steam release, this would be a daunting task. The result of great ambitions and only passable execution is still better than most similar cases: a game that works and plays out just well enough to be passable, but not nearly well enough to be actually good, let alone great. great idea, but needs a lot of improvements. The combat is just awful & boring & I had to restart several missions from the beginning because of game breaking bugs (start of mission did not load, or at the end of the mine section it restartet the mission again, got softlocked several times, it was just too annoying). The ending fight is joke and there is no real closure of the story.

Actually, it’s a really daring game; it’s unlike other games and that’s what makes it special

I’m obsessed with the balloon I need one for myself! But beyond that, the voice work and writing are top-tier, creating a unique atmosphere that stands completely apart from any other title in my library! worth every penny

Really enjoyed this game for what it is. It's full of memes and funny dialogue and although it takes a minute to get used to the controls of the balloon, the combat feels good once you get it down. Oh and the ending is Cinema! It's definitely worth a play.

When I saw the trailer for this game I thought it'd be too good to be true, but having almost beaten it at this point I want to leave an "early" review and just say it's a blast. The writing is simple and funny and straight to the point, the gameplay is varied and satisfying and it lasts you for a few hours. For being an indie title, this game gave so much more than I expected and looks absolutely stellar. With so many different elements in the game it could've ended up too chaotic, but I feel like the devs found a pretty good balance for everything. I found a few bugs during my own stream, but the devs saw it and instantly made a point to get it fixed either today or tomorrow, so they're eager to make sure any potential bugs are stomped out fast. W devs!

There's no genre that can precisely describe Inky Blinky Bob. Game is an action adventure open world dark comedy horror puzzle. It progressively goes harder even though it feels easy at the start and quests are getting better and better each time you visit a new island. While horror element is on lower scale (5-6 times getting jumpscare adrenaline rush) game had awesome quests which are really funny! I wish they somehow manage and create a co-op or part 2 with co-op. That would be sick..

this game is very enjoyable, flying is fun and challenging, the story is good, the gameplay is creepy and fun, not too hard and the whole art style and music rule

Das Spiel erinnert mich ein bisschen an Choo Choo Charles! Es ist etwas weniger Action mit dem Ballon und viel mehr zu Fuß. Kampfsystem ist leider genau so dürftig wie bei Choo Choo Charles aber ich liebe solche Games trotzdem. Der Ballon reißt es wieder raus :) Geiles Game overall
