Bomsy

I have been waiting for this game for a while now, but I was quite dissapointed to find that this game is almost impossible to play and simply function properly without a controller.

Bomsy is a good fast pace game. Its a multiplayer game for those who can run it :D Its best to play with friends, but the bots serve as good practice... The mechanics add up to the intensity of the game. i would definitley recommend this game.

I was lucky enough to get this game via game key from the devopers. With that being said, it is by far my favorite party game I have played on the pc. Playing with a controller is best, but can be played with Mouse and Keyboard after some practice and be just as good. Great level design, awesome power-up. Great game to play with your friends!

I took a chance on this game for something that has little reviews and has been out for almost a decade but I'm glad I did. For $4 this game has a lot of depth and we'll worth the purchase. The game reminds a mixture of towerfall, Bomberman and a sprinkle of Spiderman into one single game. The movement mechanics are probably the biggest hurdle first playing this game and can be a bit of a learning curve for anyone starting off but once you get used to it the game is fun, frenetic gameplay with your friends. Up to 6 players you and your friends have a really chaotic but competitive time with the game. You're also able to change the settings to different game modes and tweak the rules to however you guys like to really dial i in the gameplay. The game has a lot of unlockable skins and plenty of map choices to select from. Even an online servers although no one really plays it anymore but still shocked to see it even has it. The game isn't perfect either. There are some bugs such as unable to kick player one which may be registered to a keyboard or another controller. This varies between setup but can prevent you playing with the a maximum of 5 players unless one person wants to play on keyboard. The descent of falling feels a bit fast which feels punishing to new players who can't react to recovery fast enough yet. The swinging mechanic feels short at time and some maps selection doesn't really let you utilize as much. I personally wish the game had diagnol dashes similar to tower fall or even omnidirectional dashes. Also wish there was a beginner friendly map where platforms don't crumble to help ease into the gameplay when you first start. The selection of ammos and specials didn't feel too unique or weren't strong enough in my opinion. Like for example invisibility should just be full invisibility instead of an outline where everyone can still see. Either way for $4 this game has a lot of depth and value and an excellent recommendation who wants a 6 player game that's basically towerfall on steroids. Highly recommend
