very good game
A lot of the negative reviews focus on how the randomization aspect of progression is a hindrance, however, I believe it is what shapes this game to be as unique as it is. I am on day 70, and I would say out of those 70 days, I have either learned something new, completed an objective, or set a new goal for myself about 90% of the time. Obviously when RNG is involved you may not be able to do anything relating to your current goals, but that doesn't mean you can't make use of that time to learn something new. I have consistently gone into each day with multiple goals in mind, with some taking priority over others of course. Depending on what I draw that day, my goals and strategy change. That is what Blue Prince wants you to do. It wants you to adapt to what you get. You are forced to adapt and be flexible about your options for that day. This is more than a puzzle game. It is a strategy game that rewards good planning and problem solving. (Also, take notes on EVERYTHING. You will thank me later.)

Crashes when loading a new game
I have 100%'d what we know exists and now my brain hurts. 8 full pages of notes on steam. 36 screenshots. Worth every hour of my life. I can't wait for one single stone to be overturned and suddenly my hours double, trying to solve a whole new set of puzzles

literally best game ive ever played
This game is amazing and I would highly recommend. I saw a lot of complaints that it was too RNG based before I started the game, but in practice, it is a key mechanic of the game that can be adjusted and also makes it feel way more rewarding when you achieve something. In addition, the randomness helps make it feel more like an adventure and exploring something new each time. The only "criticism" is that a lot of the endgame puzzles are pretty complicated and requires a lot of thought and retracing your steps, so if you aren't dedicated it won't be as fun.
i feel like i'm just running into a wall repeatedly until it magically becomes a door and that aptly sums up the blue prince experience it's fun, i'll still keep playing, but at a certain point the "hope you luck your way into progress" gameplay loop gets pretty boring lol
I actually haven't been able to play this game, I have spent a few hours trying to get it to work on my computer. I have a graphic issue that all the clues will glitch and go behind the background, It makes the game unplayable for me, normally I am fine with graphic errors if the game is still playable. But you can't play a mystery game if you can't read the rules. The game itself looks extremely fun, I've watched a beginning playthrough and stopped so I could play through myself. I reached out to support for this issue, the people who helped me were very kind and professional so I'm not upset at them in any way. What I am extremely upset about was I was told "Snapdragon/Adreno hardware configuration differs from the hardware configurations the game is designed and tested for." which sucks because I don't have anything but my laptop to play on. It seems like you need that specific configurations and its not going become compatible with more. I was fine with this fact, I understood I played on a Laptop and not all games are going to work (this is the only game where this glitch makes it unplayable, No, I'm not human has a background graphic glitch but I can play it just fine still) my plan was to just get it on my switch then. EXCEPT it is not on the Switch its on the Switch 2 so I don't have a console that's compatible either. So over all there is a lack of accessibility playing wise, that doesn't seem likely to change. Ontop of that I am frustrated I cannot return the game because I got it in a bundle with Inscription which I play often and I'm not open to letting go of. I'm sure if I could play the game I would recommend, but I literally can't so until maybe one day when they make it more compatible or I get like a steam deck or something I cant rate this positively. :( :( :(
