Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 14.29/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Every market we collect.
Same day: best AU #50, worst UK #79 · 4 markets collected
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some aspects of this game are a bit frustrating or underwhelming - be it the random nature of the each run or narrative that is only told through notes and hints. However its a game that is like no other, a puzzle rougelike that does not get old. Really recommend if you're into both these things. And don't be afraid to check stuff on the internet if you're not hardcorde about reading every note throughly.
every time I sit down and play this game, I solve many puzzles, and discovery even more. The rabbit hole just keeps and keeps and keeps getting bigger. 20 hours in and the game is still growing. It gives you the amazing feeling of figuring something out and getting you excited about a new mystery but like over and over and over again. Fully fully fully worth the price. This is an amazing purchase. Wow.
I paid $30 but it keeps crashing. I can't even get through the first day before the game crashes and I lose my entire run.
Layers upon layers of puzzles, delivered though a simple yet effective core gameplay loop. You'll surely find something new every run, which keeps it fresh for a surprising amount of time.
does it never end?
Way too many red herrings and non-clues exist in the world for how abstract some of the puzzles are. I've also had to Google several puzzles for their solutions. After seeing how you're supposed to learn the solutions in-game, I would have never made the nonsense leap to connect some of these dots.
I went into this game thinking it would be a simple puzzle box, find the way to the other side of the mansion. The makers of this game went above and beyond, big time. There are so many more puzzles in this game than I was expecting! It is so much bigger than expected. Bring a notebook - you'll need it!
Blue Prince is a mix of a puzzle game and a slot machine, where you put in 10 hours of your life, and a random number generator will decide if you're able to solve a problem or not. Almost a third of all runs are barren, resulting in no new developments, and the ones that give you something still require you to grind the same-y math puzzles over and over. Some puzzles are just silly, like finding a number sequence for a lock on a knee-high fence gate (there's a sledgehammer item that lets you break locks, but obviosly not that one). The story is great, and makes you curious, but just learning that is barely worth hours upon hours spent repeating the same tasks, and walking the same rooms you've seen a hundred times already.
