10 years i had this game, i finish it, the install again because there's new map, finish it, uninstall, new map again, install again, now this 11 years old game, it's still launching new map, so i had to install again and play again. This game redefine tower defense at it simplicity and continuance

Bloons TD 5 is really good. It still gets regular updates. It also has pirate ships. Although not entirely a pirate game, depending on the level, it can be viewed as a sort of pirate game.

Random missions will keep seasoned players on their toes if you get bored of the main game!

🐒 Review – Bloons TD 5 Sinceramente? Bloons TD 5 é um ótimo tower defense. Joguei pela Steam e me diverti bastante — é aquele tipo de jogo que começa leve, vai ficando estratégico, e quando você percebe, já passou horas tentando montar a defesa perfeita com os macacos. O visual é simpático, os upgrades são bem pensados e tem bastante conteúdo pra desbloquear. É ótimo como passatempo ou pra relaxar. Mas tem um detalhe que me deixou muito decepcionado: o jogo não tem salvamento em nuvem. E o pior: não troquei de PC, não formatei, nada disso. Só esqueci de fazer o backup manual do save e, por algum motivo, o jogo apagou tudo. Sim, perdi todo o meu progresso — e isso aconteceu duas vezes. Não é um erro que "estraga" o jogo, mas sinceramente, isso desanima demais. Um sistema de save tão arcaico hoje em dia é difícil de defender. Se você quer entrar no mundo Bloons, minha dica é: vai direto pro Bloons TD 6. Além de ser mais completo, tem salvamento em nuvem e muito mais suporte. — Nota pessoal: ⭐⭐⭐✩✩ (3/5)

Bloons TD 5 is honestly almost better than Bloons TD 6 in some ways. It may be the older and less flashy game, but there are several things it does that I still prefer over its successor. One of the biggest is progression. Almost everything can be earned simply by playing the game, with only a few tower skins sitting outside of that progression. It makes unlocking things feel much more rewarding and gives you a reason to keep playing instead of constantly reminding you that additional purchases exist. I also really like the Specialty Buildings. Being able to choose a building that improves a specific tower and even gives it additional abilities adds another layer to planning your strategy. It's a relatively simple system, but it makes specializing in particular towers much more interesting. It's also one of the features I genuinely miss when playing Bloons TD 6. There is still plenty of content here as well, and the core tower defense gameplay has aged extremely well. Building defenses, experimenting with different tower combinations, and gradually unlocking more options remains just as addictive as ever. Bloons TD 6 certainly expanded the formula in many ways, but newer doesn't automatically mean better in every regard. Between the more satisfying play-to-earn progression and Specialty Buildings, Bloons TD 5 still has some advantages over its successor and remains absolutely worth playing today.
