After watching GamerSecret’s (玩家機密) video about you, I came away with a great deal of admiration for you. I was deeply moved by the fact that you taught yourself C++ from scratch, built an entire game on your own, and shared your development journey through livestreams for four years. What touched me even more was learning that, throughout the process, you repeatedly doubted yourself, compared your work to other games, and often felt that it wasn’t good enough. Despite that, you kept learning, kept trying, and ultimately brought the game to life. To be honest, the game as a whole still has some room for improvement, and it doesn’t yet support Chinese. Even so, I bought it as a small way of supporting you. I sincerely hope that all your hard work and dedication will continue to bring you the recognition and rewards you deserve.
I really want to love this game but it requires so much grinding basically incredible lengths for each boss to beat each them and you cant progress till you do( you will only be able to see the maps you already beaten which gets old fast) I really don't understand this system why a dev would do this, normally its fine if the game has randomly generated maps to keep it interesting. To give an example lets say a boss can only be damaged by fire and the only character that deals fire damage hits for like 40 damage right now unless I spend another ten hours of grinding then just maybe I can deal enough damage to beat it only the boss has million hp. the game seems to be only locked with three characters, if this game had a fourth hard hitting arty type time it would make much more enjoyable, the game over uses a revive system so it gives the characters nearly zero health making the system feel abused and only your hero that you can move around often gets one shotted you can put items on your team to prevent instant death but your hero doesn't seem to equip items to prevent that. What would help with the grind is either is to lower the boss hp a bit, or keep the current grind system and add lots of fun random side maps or random generated maps to keep the game interesting and add a fourth character a slow powerful damage type to deal some damage to the boss.
Определённо нет. Когда в ТД нет баланса, и тебе надо перепроходить раз от раза начальные уровни чтобы прокачаться интереса играть нет.
Unfortunately, I just cannot recommend this game. It is guilty of one of the worst sins a game can be guilty of: Wasting the player's time. What happens is usually this: You'll spend a very long time getting through a level to the boss. Then that boss will wreck you quite quickly (depending on the level). ---------- EDIT: It seems like some of what I describe below is due to 3x speed being broken, it appears that many shots just downright aren't counted as a hit and therefore won't damage targets, making especially bosses insanely hard it appears. Well, obviously that should be fixed. ---------- And so you grind, and you grind and you grind, getting more frustrated with each attempt as the game's mechanics are unfortunately somewhat obtuse. Once you understand (or look up) what the current boss's gimmick is supposed to be, you need to go back to the skill tree, and painstakingly respec everything to fit exactly that boss. What this game would absolutely need is a checkpoint before the boss and MUCH, MUCH, MUCH less gimmicky bosses that won't require the absurd respec dance every single time. As it is, you'll be endless frustrated by getting your time wasted. And that's not even the only issue: You are fully at the mercy of RNG. Didn't get the kind of items you need? Well, too bad, you're dead - or you'll waste precious gold to reroll until you get what you want. There is item conversion, but the cooldown is so long it might as well not exist. Needless to say, this only adds to the frustration.
dont like the game mechanics just not for me
I had never played a Tower Defense game, but the art really drew me in soon after I was in love with Tangy TD. I hope to see Tangy 2 on the steam store front in the future.
It is very short, 6 maps. You used to be able to do challenge runs to make points to fill out your skill tree, and that is gone now. No matter how many challenges runs I do, no points for the skill tree. So... 5 maps total. Not worth it.
The game seemed really good at start, but then.. it comes down to RNG LUCK. The game itself is tiny, but I still couldn't complete the PIT in normal regime. With my RN luck (being negative surely) I managed to get enough non physical damage to deal 50% of the boss's HP. Then I thought - why bother... I have seen the whole game already. The perk tree - only looks big. You could easily add those perks one to another to not make it look SO BIG, becasue they are the same and the ultimate perks are kinda meh... spent 5 hours, liked the first 2. Got it via sale, still too expensive for the experience 4\10.
Bumped into this game from YT, was just for supporting but turns out the gameplay is smoother than many other games. You can look at the animation, movement, projectiles, does not jitter at all, that itself already a great plus for TD. Btw I like how you can pick up and throw heroes (towers)
nice and fun little tower defense game. Takes abit to learn but rather addictive.
