Axis & Allies 1942 Online

If you play Axis & Allies 1942 Online and you notice that the computer keeps getting good dice rolls, it's not a coincidence - the developers decided to inject fake difficulty by giving the computer unfair dice rolls. They land successful attacks with 70%+ of their rolls, meanwhile you are lucky to land attacks with 20% of your rolls. This is *terrible* game design. The dice rolls should be random, not favored for the computer. I've seen them roll dice for 9 tanks and land 8 successful attacks out of 9 rolls. This ruins the game for me. NOT recommended!

I haven't loaded this game in years, and when I went back to it today it says I am banned. No explanation, no remedy, just screw me I guess. Do not waste your money on a game that will arbitrarily ban you when you aren't even using the software. Garbage product from a garbage company.

Over 1000 hours into this should tell you something. Great game. Only thing i wish it had, would be better AI. They use pretty much the same strategy each game. I understand the game is meant for online play and the solo is more for learning the game, but some of us don't like people. HAHA Like i said, this is the best A&A game out there on PC

Have you ever played a game that makes you sooooo mad that you want to break your controller? Well, this is one of those games. This game is SO rigged that you will quickly feel like the game hates you, the developers hate you, your mom hates you, and even your dog hates you now. This game is one of the most frustrating games I have ever played in my life. I would not recommend this game to anyone with behavioral disabilities, there is a good chance something will get broke. I remember playing the board game when I was young, and this game is nothing like the real thing. You will quickly realize the dice favor one player or the other. The game is also so broken that it won't even let you "kick" inactive players. Since the dice are the main factor too the game, playing against rigged dice will nearly make you loose your sanity.

Axis & Allies was great when I was a kid with Milton Bradly rules, but like with D&D, HASBRO screwed it up.

The extremely long pauses in the game while playing against the CPU makes the game borderline unplayable. Such a small thing ruins an otherwise great game. Like, why does a bombing run have to take like 30 seconds? Just show me the result, should take like 4 seconds.

Great graphics, but way too much computer control of the game play. It's just missing specific levels of interaction needed when playing a board style of game. Everything these days is about the look and not enough about the play. Love the board game but not impressed with the computer version.

Been playing this game at the behest of my husband and his friends and I'll admit I've started to grow fond of it (particularly the music). I've stuck to playing as Russia each time for the sake of simplicity. I just take my turn when prompted and whenever things look bleak, say stuff like "NOT ONE STEP BACK" and the menfolk seem to approve. I wish they'd go easier on me though :')

would be cool if they added other versions of A&A board games as DLCs
