About
Blaze of Storm is a vertical-scrolling shmup featuring cyber-inspired pixel art, exhilarating fast-scrolling, and a variety of sub-weapons.
As a cyberdiver, you'll delve into cyberspace and battle a diverse range of enemies. Each of the five selectable sub-weapons has its own unique characteristics, making it fun to use them appropriately depending on the situation.
In addition, when a sub-weapon comes into contact with an enemy, it generates an explosion that deals continuous damage. Making good use of this explosion is key to victory.
More than 20 unique bosses appear one after another, providing a varied and condensed gameplay experience.
Story:
In the year 794 of the Cyber Century, the nation was managed by a giant computer called "Elixia." Elixia controlled all aspects of politics, economy, and the military, making war and poverty a thing of the past. However, that peace suddenly crumbles.
Unidentified enemies appeared in cyberspace and began to erode the system of Elixia. The city's infrastructure was in chaos, communication networks were cut off, and people faced fear.
In response to this situation, cyberdiver "Ayame Crow" began investigating cyberspace. Cyberdivers are people with special abilities who can directly connect their consciousness to cyberspace.
Behind this crisis, it was discovered that there was a human being called "Phantom" who uploaded his mind into cyberspace. He was plotting to control Elixia in order to lead humanity to chaos that he called freedom.
Ayame boards the cyber fighter Image Striker and contacts Elixir. Now, the battle to save humanity from crisis begins!

Reviews
This game was my first 1CC in any arcade or shmup. I think it is very approachable, and due to short length worth the time investment of learning about routing, personal improvement, without feeling overly punishing for someone like me who loves the genre, but struggles to keep the mental space to practice and master games. I look forward to advancing my way through the game difficulties as I try to get all of the achievements in this one.
Impressive
============ Here's a suggestion guys: When you first enter the game, please immediately change the shooting keys from J、 K to Z 、 X in the options. There's a major issue in this game currently (March 2, 2026): the key mapping of the J and K keys is glitched. When shooting (especially when using the primary and secondary weapons at the same time), the directional keys will sometimes went bad. However, set the shooting key with Z and X works normally. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it happens on my computer.
Another fantastic title from Terarin games. Blaze of Storm delivers the same level of polish and fun we have come to expect from one of the best doujin STG developers at the moment. Normal difficulty is great for those finding their feet in the genre while Expert holds just enough challenge to keep the more experienced players on their toes. Highly recommended.
A fun shooter. Everything moves fast, the game feels hectic, there's a lot happening in all corners of the screen. How am I supposed to play, I feel like I get by on luck. Then I play more and it starts to feel slower. I am learning. I am noticing maneuvers that increase my score. It is fun how item pick ups that ostensibly are positive result in lower score. I am now not only dodging bullets but also items. Learning when and where they spawn. Gotta remember the homing shot item floating from there, I have to be elsewhere. Bullets driving me towards the item, I have to find a way out. It feels great.
I love Caravan games and this gave me real Compile vibes. While Normal was pretty easy and generous with extends (I 1cc'd on my first try), I feel that the Normal mode was basically the "Easy" difficulty, and look forward to playing more. Great music and nice boss sprites, finding secrets was also very fun!
