About
The second scripture in the Blasphemous series portends the return of The Penitent One, with a story that continues from the free Wounds of Eventide DLC for the original game, where The Heart in the sky heralded the return of The Miracle and foretold the birth of a new miracle child.
Awakened in a strange new land, and displaced from his final resting place, The Penitent One is thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection, with no other option than to explore this perilous new world and uncover its long-forgotten secrets.
Hordes of grotesque enemies stand in your way, awaiting final judgement by the brutal hand of the Penitent One, with titanic twisted bosses also lurking in the darkness, waiting for their chance to return you to the grave from whence you came.
Taking them down won’t be easy, but with Blasphemous 2 offering more chances to customise and improve your skill set, along with several new unique weapons to wield with righteous zeal and unending fury, victory might just be within grasp.
Ultimately, only one thing is certain… Penance Never Ends
Having awoken in a strange new land, your journey starts anew in a series of enchantingly grotesque landscapes, oozing Gothic charm and littered with unforgiving traps. How you tackle the labyrinthian world remains at your discretion, there is no wrong turn to be made, only scores to settle
The Penitent One shows no mercy, and with a series of new weapons offering new moves, brutal executions, and expanded combos, destruction will rain on any that stand in his way

Blasphemous 2 offers up new ways to play, with the ability to customise and improve your base skillset, alongside several new unique weapons to unleash devastating attacks on enemies

Hordes of monstrous foes stand between you and your goal; twisted bosses with unique attack patters and sundering abilities will put your skills to the test as you fight to stand triumphant when the dust settles

A whole new world awaits, bustling with mysterious new NPCs to interact with, some will offer aid, some will ask for it, and others will send you on death defying missions to obtain long forgotten items. With so much to see and do, the stories and myths you encounter will help you unpick the games myriad of secrets, granting you a deeper understanding of this strange new world

Mejora por muchoo el plataformeo del 1 aunque la atmosfera se siente menos ominosa, igual, juegazo
Blasphemous 2 is a phenomenal sequel that brilliantly refines and expands upon its predecessor's dark world, delivering an even tighter and more rewarding Metroidvania experience. The game vastly improves its combat by introducing three distinct starter weapons, each featuring its own unique moveset and world-exploration abilities, which adds incredible depth to both enemy encounters and platforming puzzles. Visually, the gorgeous pixel art is cleaner and more fluidly animated, bringing the haunting, religiously inspired world to life with stunning, grotesque detail. With its phenomenal soundtrack, more cohesive map design, and challenging yet fair boss battles, it stands as a masterful continuation that captures the eerie magic of the original while significantly improving the gameplay loop.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Blasphemous 2 by The Game Kitchen Release Year: 2023 Genre: Metroidvania Playthrough length: 45hrs A sequel to the 2019 hit, Blasphemous 2 takes place generations after the end of the first game, with the Penitent One being revived to prevent the birth of the child of the Miracle. Positives: Area Variety - B2 is more of a traditional Metroidvania than the first game, and that shows in the gameplay variety Weapon Variety - B2 allows switching between 3 (4 w/DLC) weapons unlike the first game Boss Fights - Although not as good as the original, the bosses remain great Negatives: Writing - The plot is confusing, the lore is convoluted and the game's writing feels significantly less evocative Visual Design - Lacking the unifying catholic imagery of B1, B2 feels much more like generic fantasy Enemy Reuse - Far, far too much, both between areas and between B1 & B2 Final Thoughts: A muddled follow-up to a 10/10 game, B2 feels like a compromise between the searing clarity of the original's vision and a traditional fantasy Metroidvania. It's still a good game, but it feels overwritten and lacks the punch and urgency of the original. Final Score: 7/10 Blasphemous 2: The Third Sin by The Game Kitchen Release Year: 2026 Genre: Metroidvania First playthrough length: 4hrs An expansion for Blasphemous 2, The Third Sin has the Penitent One travel to a mysterious castle in the mist, becoming entwined in a plot to life its ancient curse. Positives: Level Design - The interwoven design of the mysterious castle allows for levels that loop and weave into each other Embrujo - The new whip weapon freshens up combat and creates new ways to interact with the environment Servants - NPC allies add to the gameplay without unbalancing it Negatives: Writing - The story of this DLC feels like its going through the motions, with barely anything unique to say Enemy Variety - Only a few enemies feel fitting for the setting, with plenty of reuse from the base game Boss - There is only one boss fight in the DLC, and it is is a bit 'meh' Final Thoughts: The Third Sin feels like the logical extension of the worst aspects of Blasphemous 2: a barebones story, soupy writing, and the unique aspects of the setting sanded off in favour of trying to be Castlevania. The only thing holding it up is the quality gameplay. Final Score: 5/10
Great game, expansive map, clever puzzles and unlocks. It pays off to explore everything.
good game. Hard to balance all the weapons in the game so that made the game a little less fun overall
