Ремейк, который делали за идею, переродившийся в полноценный проект. Местами красиво, неплохая музыка. В остальном проблемы типичного ремейка: сломанный темп, растянутые главы, геймплей – шаг в сторону. Неплохой мод для HL2, но никак не возвращение той самой классики. Местами настолько скучно, что без предварительного знакомства со вселенной дроп был неизбежен.

I feel like you need to have some kind of attachment to Half-life back in the day. Its definitely showing its age now, and the jank make its not fun to play. Between getting randomly stuck between objects, invisible hit boxes, getting stuck on ladders. I really tried with this game, but the puzzles are boring, the story is virtually non-existant so there is not much to break up the monotony.

The best game in history. An incredible retelling of the original with flawless storytelling that stays true to the source material, stunning graphics, and redesigned combat that feels more meaningful to the story. It also expands on parts of the Half-Life lore that the original game never explored in such depth. If you're wondering whether you should buy it, don't hesitate. I've beaten the original Half-Life six times, and not once did I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the 11 hours this masterpiece gave me. Now it's my turn to 100% the game—your turn is to experience it for yourself. Opportunities like this don't come around often, so don't miss it. Both the standard Campaign and the Blue Shift Workshop mod are absolutely worth it

Constantly crashing. Tried to fix by: verifying files, redownloading the game, updating drivers and windows, restarting levels, adjusting graphics settings and it still crashes.
