I don't think that if anyone is going to change or tell you something you've not heard about half life, it's going to be me, but let me say this, Black mesa is half life perfected, it was made with love and the kind of minutiae you rarely even see anymore. Good gunplay, additions, models, everything.

The xen part is like walking in pandora from Avatar movies, 10/10 soundtrack, an improvement from the og game
Game is all right but performance sucks in outdoor areas. I can play on high graphic settings in most areas but outdoor areas chug even on low settings. This game needs to be better optimized.

Black Mesa - Bir Efsanenin Yeniden İnşası ve Source Motorunun Sınırları Orijinal Half-Life'ın sadece grafiklerini güncellemekle kalmayan, oyunun zayıf yönlerini (özellikle Xen) alıp adeta bir sanat eserine dönüştüren bu yapım, "Remake" (Yeniden Yapım) kavramının oyun dünyasındaki en kusursuz örneklerinden biridir. 🟢 ARTILARI (Tasarım ve Mühendislik Derinliği) Çevresel Anlatım ve Rezonans Şelalesi: Oyun size hikayeyi ara sahnelerle (cutscene) anlatmaz. Black Mesa tesisindeki o meşhur patlama anından sonra yıkılmış koridorlar, duvardaki kan izleri, bilim insanlarının çaresizliği ve laboratuvarların o soğuk tasarımı, felaketin boyutunu tamamen çevre aracılığıyla, muazzam bir sessizlikle anlatır. Dinamik HECU Yapay Zekası: Askerlerle çatışmak bu oyunda adeta bir satranç maçıdır. Düşmanlar eski oyunlardaki gibi önceden yazılmış (scripted) bir rotada koşmazlar; sizi köşeye sıkıştırmak için kanatlardan dolanırlar, baskı ateşi kurarlar ve telsizle iletişim kurarak saniyelik taktik değiştirirler. Xen Biyomunun Evrimi: Orijinal oyunun o boş, mantıksız ve platform eziyeti olan Xen bölümleri baştan aşağı silinip yeniden yapılmış. Yerçekimi fiziklerine dayalı bulmacaları, kendine ait korkunç besin zinciri ve görsel şöleniyle Xen, artık oyunun en zayıf değil, en nefes kesici noktası. 🔴 EKSİLERİ (Motorun Yaşlılığı ve Tempo Problemleri) Xen'in (Özellikle Interloper) Sünmesi: Evet Xen harika, ancak oyunun son çeyreğindeki o fabrikamsı uzaylı yapıları (Interloper bölümü) gereğinden çok fazla uzun tutulmuş. Bir süre sonra "Bitsin artık" hissi yaratıp oyunun harika temposuna çelme takıyor. Source Motorunun Kronik Hastalıkları: Oyun 2004 çıkışlı bir oyun motorunun güncellenmiş halini kullanıyor. Bu yüzden üst üste binen kutuların sapıtması, hantal merdiven çıkma animasyonları ve anlık donarak giren "Yükleniyor" (Loading) ekranları modern oyun akıcılığını biraz baltalıyor. 📜 SONUÇ FPS türünün temellerini atan o efsanevi macerayı, hem nostaljiye ihanet etmeden hem de modern bir görsellikle yaşamak isteyen herkesin oynaması gereken bir şaheser.
