Absolute 10/10 game. The lightning, the graphics, the gameplay, the music, even the background. I love that they kept the original elements and even added to some levels in the game. The NPC rework was really needed in my opinion because in the original game I found the NPCs really bugy. The only thing I dont really liked about the game is XEN. In my opinion it was way too long and had some pretty difficult places and areas where you really needed to think to pass. Overall its a really solid game and lives up to being a remaster to the original game, it was really fun to play through. 10/10 would play again

Xen drags on for so long. It felt like it would never end. I wish the last chapters would have been a bit shorter. But still Black Mesa is great remake of Half Life. Absolutely worth playing.
While I really enjoy the re-imagining of Half Life, some technical issues soured that enjoyment. Long loading times, constant vulkan shader recompilations and crashes. If you don't experience those it might be just the right thing.
