Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BEWARE, THIS GAME IS A HUGE DRAIN ON PROCESSING / MEMORY. the graphics are nothing to cheer, so this passive idler game, prevents alternative games from running in the fore ground. literally defeating the purpose of this games apeal. Also, if steam happens to update, while this game crashes on you... it crashes the rest of the computer, so you will need to turn off steam auto-update, because it will double tap your processor and memory transfer capability... p.s., the community is... extremely eccentric, and you will need to consider 2-3 groups to get what i mean..
If you are a new player you are locked out from many of the things that make the game attractive on paper. You will not claim land or really be able to meaningfully partake in that part of the game. A handful of clans own everything. Progression is painful. This makes OSR look like a turbo charged gacha fever dream. Combat... exists, its terrible. Questing... see combat. Characters are bland by design but they look awful. They have zero personality or meaningful customization. Crafting is tedious and boring and is what you will spend 98% of your time doing. Resource collection... see crafting. If a António Egas Moniz made a game in the modern era, it would be this dumpster fire. Slow, boring, bland and lifeless.

It's ... fine. Grindy, a bit empty but EA so not surprising. Good background/second monitor game, but biggest issue IMO: Apparently they're wanting it to be _less_ of a background game and more 'active'. Over the course of adding seven or eight new 'active' mechanics they have not once introduced a satisfying or engaging active mechanic yet. All of them are either: Pay attention for a very short timer drop to appear. You have to have nameplates on or you _will_ miss it. Or press 'find thing' walk 50-100 spaces that way and then press 'find thing' again, repeat 8-10 times and you get 1/100 of a thing! There _is_ a profession dungeon that I have only watched the lead dev play on stream with some people but it is literally just running back and forth between two nodes and smacking them... which is the exact same thing you're doing outside the profession dungeon except you don't have to keep running back and forth and can just watch videos while your little guy does the thing. The worst part is that a decent number of them are, effectively, pointless once you've hit the 'good' drop on the RNG table. So you have this _giant_ table of abilities to 'find T1 fish' 'find T2 fish' 'find T3 fish' 'find T1 trophy fish' 'find T2 trophy fish' 'find T3 trophy fish' 'hunt T1 magnetic ore' 'hunt T2 magnetic ore' for a bunch of different T1-T10 resources and it's just as easy to read as this paragraph. To say: It's CLUNKY. The game's weakest part is the menus.
it could have been great. its dead. played for a year on and off. cult type environment. 500 active uses left. more like 100 different people with alt accounts. lack of variety, lack of teams. you aren't able to make it unless you're one of them. if you have a job. a social life. enjoy touching grass. this game is not for you.
I was considering replaying this game to see the updates but I realized one of the biggest drawbacks is that approach of the game itself. The player has no commitment (and consequently likely very little care) about standings within towns because literally everything is MEANT to be left behind. House you worked on? Just move it! Town not doing well or not seeing resources commensurate with your skill? Just join a new one! The only exception to this would be the actual town/empire leader maybe but who cares when there isn't any real pledge and most people arent d1? Not even sure there's even like laws or things to implement since the empire system was designed as optional/cosmetic (again, non committal) It fundamentally loses the plot of a world you want to engage in because theres no mark to leave and it seems to be advertised as a selling point rather than a concern to address. Its basically osrs where the d1 players got to place the towns, and at that point Id rather just play osrs.
If you have a job where you can set this game up to idly craft then this game is great. But if you want a game to actively play then this isn't it. I enjoy gathering and don't mind it taking some time, thats normal. I enjoy crafting and it taking some time, thats normal too. But when it can take literal hours to make something with the only interaction being clicking to start and clicking to resume crafting once u've ran out of stamina from afk crafting and waiting for it to regen, it's not great... If you are a solo player wanting to join up with random people and help them then its fine but if you are solo and want to do things yourself then it's even worse. It's very overwhelming. The community is great tho but I can't give this game a good review just for that. Thats not something the game did right, thats the people playing it being good. I want to give this game a good review and i want to enjoy this game fully but sitting there doing nothing for hours over and over again gets boring pretty quickly...
The game is ultra grindy for the sake of grinding. There is more content coming, but if grinding isn't for you, don't buy and downvote. One of the most cooperative, peaceful, idle-esque games I know of!
BitCraft has become far more than just another game for me. Over the past few years it's been there through some of the hardest moments of my life—losing both my parents, going through skin cancer surgery, living with Primary Progressive MS, and dealing with the exhaustion and stress that comes with all of it. There were many days when I didn't have the energy for fast-paced games, but I could still log into BitCraft, work on a project, chat with friends, gather resources, or simply exist in a world that felt peaceful. That doesn't mean the game is perfect. It isn't. There are bugs. Some systems still need refining. Progression can feel slow at times, and Early Access definitely shows in places. But that's exactly what I signed up for—an evolving game that's still growing. What matters to me is that the developers keep listening, keep improving, and keep building something genuinely different. What really makes BitCraft special is the community. I've met some wonderful people here, built settlements from scratch, watched villages grow into thriving towns, and been part of stories that simply couldn't happen in a traditional MMO. The player-driven economy, cooperation, and sense of shared purpose create memories that scripted quests never could. There isn't a race to the end. The fun comes from building something together. Whether you're farming, crafting, exploring, trading, or helping new players get started, your time always feels like it contributes to something bigger. After 3,530 hours, I still find myself logging in because I want to, not because I feel obligated to complete a daily checklist. If you're looking for an action MMO with constant combat and instant rewards, this probably isn't your game. If you enjoy slow-burn progression, community building, creating lasting projects with friends, and watching a world shaped by its players, BitCraft is absolutely worth your time. Here's to many more hours.
Their choices in character creation clearly show an agenda against males with the only body type being very slim with wide hips. There are 18 hair styles, 16 of those are female, 1 is bald, 1 is neutral. The choice for legs are skirt... or nothing. There isn't a single facial hair option. Run animation is very feminine. The devs call all of that "gender neutral". I'm a guy and when I play RPG's I roleplay a guy, without that universal option, I can't play the game which is a shame because I love grindy games. Refunding.
I should have watch more gameplays. Game is about crafting and building but dosen't even allow you to build your own house in the world with farms or something. It is killing my will for crafting when you can have only a tiny town with one house taking only tiny spot for several players. Where in this game you see nice pretty customised personal houses? Wthout them it is realy boring game.
