realistically just started playing this game, but this is an interesting and fun platformer with some challenging movement and unique ideas. i did run into issues with bugs and audio, but overall would still recommend this to folks looking for a refreshing take on a pixel platformer
mega cute game with relatively simple controls and crumbs of jank (though this jank is super fun to once you get used to it...usually). there are a few tedious sections here and there but these sections are optional for the most part, which makes it okay .. in my playthrough of the game there were a lot of bugs and glitches that made the game oodles more irritating than it should have been, but in this playthrough i used the aforementioned 'jank' to sequence break (presumably), so that's probably what caused most of the glitches. there are a few softlocks here and there, but overall the pros outweigh the cons and i'd give this game a B for Bgood because this game's art design scratches the funny part of my brain (lots of moments where i stopped and was like "waoh that's coool")

(Ignore playtime, I play offline a lot.) Cute platformer with a lot of neat little things to explore and find! Seriously, everytime I think Ive found everything on a level, Ill accidentally find something else! Levels start off simple but get harder as you go along. Theres been a few bugs, but nothing game breaking so far. It also has cats! ₍^. .^₎⟆
I think this game is very nice. Classic platformer with some mini-games that are very cute. Not too hard, but not easy either: good balance regarding difficulty. There are still some bugs, that in part also hurt the experience, but overall it's a nice game. Still haven't finished, it's longer than it might seem at first. Oh, and I tried running it on linux, it worked first try just by pressing "download" and "play". Nice.
I'm very conflicted on whether to love or hate this game, but i'll try to give my best review of it. To start off, I think the game has a lot that needs fixing, and maybe i'll revisit once a few bug fixes and patches are introduced, as those are large parts of my complaints for my i didn't enjoy the experience much. And if so I may change my opinion. Pros: The art style and music is really wonderful and cute. It fits the aesthetic and the backgrounds are nice to look at, the cybercity level especially had me vibing for a while. So A+ on presentation, Bit himself is a very cute sprite and his animations are pretty good. The boss fights I had experienced so far where actually fun and engaging and I had a good time with them, albeit a bit simple. But they were definitely the highlight of the gameplay. Cons: My biggest issue apart from glitches and bugs like wall jumps not working, or weird crashes or resets. Is the movement feels so bad, it does not feel fluid or fun to play as bit. Maybe its a skill issue, but so many parts of the parkour feel just difficult without the fun part of the difficult. It just was annoying, bit sometimes accelerates super slow if you jump a millisecond too early, the dash distance is not intuitive and the parkour feels like it wasnt built with that set distance in mind. Also the super jump just doesnt work half the time. And not to mention the annoying wait times for some parts of parkour, where you have no option but to sit and wait for the right timing and are punished for trying anything but sitting still and waiting. TLDR fun boss fights, great art and aesthetics, gameplay leaves much to be desired and the parkour design feels more annoying than challenging. 7/10 game
From what I played so far of the game it was a positive experience! The presentation and graphics are really nice (especially Bit our protagonist is really cute) and the gameplay was good! There were/are some bugs but the developer is doing their best to fix those as quickly as possible! Definitely rec this game and hope more people check it out!
This game is amazing. I've played it before it came out, and it's one of the best platformers ever made. I think it's cute in how it keeps being clever all the way to the end. Honestly, I'm amazed people seem to be sleeping on this great game.
Fantastic platformer that absolutely deserves more attention, beautiful to look at and very fun to play. The presentation and the art style are gorgeous, full of small touches and cool moments that show how the game was made with care and attention, each level (and the optional minigames) has its own distinct style and the result is very stylish and full of personality. The pace is great and the platforming is always satisfying. The levels are only apparently linear, as there are tons of secrets, different routes, hidden challenges and several different endings.
This is an amazing platformer! I love that through the simplicity and the abstraction of playing as a pixel in a world of pixels it still manages to give a very human story with a big fat mirror on our current world, the exploitation, and the darkness. The way the game starts in a beautiful and bright world and then bit by bit as you peel off every layer while escaping it gets darker and grittier with very chilling moments. It is almost like you're opening your eyes to the hidden pains of our current world. I enjoyed every bit of this game.
super cute game!! the platforming is fun and a bit challenging and i really love the art style
