https://youtu.be/InP9MFlMlJU An alright Cuphead clone that focuses on platforming over boss rush. It tries to capture the magic and appeal of that fan favorite, but it just ends up flat to the point of a free flash game. Even how the game feels cheapened. In this game you need to clear all enemies in the rooms leading up to the boss fight. The problem is you restart when you get hit once. This is the difficulty and, unlike the aforementioned obvious inspiration, the foes don't move on a pattern and the first set alone with multiple fast moving floating eyes can crowd you or sneak in on you at a moments notice. There's also no check points, adding to the artificial difficultu scale. Also, the store page says it is fully compatable with a controller. Unfortunately at this time, it is not. I used an Xbox 360 controller and most worked, but the calibration has pause as the up arrow on the d-pad, and not a single button is assigned to attack. Thankfully this is simple enough that using a keyboard (WASD, space to jump, j to attack) won't be that much of a hassle. That said, combat is a bit exhaustive. While you only get one hit, the enemies require multiple hits to formed into a ball, then you hit said ball to get it to roll off screen at the bottom. It can push you, so inadvertantly coming into contact with an enemy is pretty easy. Overall, it IS a fun game for what it is, but it definitely lacks everything that made the Cuphead such a memorable experience. This is the main reason I lost interest after just under an hour of playing. It is worth grabbing, but $20 US ($18 on sale at the time of writing this review) just feels way too much for a hollow shell of it's inspiration. Yes, it's kind of enjoyable, but you're better off playing the originator and waiting on a far better sale.

This is hardly a game, literally played better flash games in 2004.
Needs some work in presentation. However this game is fun and enjoyable! Cuphead may have popularized the 1930s style in gaming, but you have your own originality and expanding that style in gaming. Not a clone and the one hit kill is a cool retro throwback like most old games, but most people arn't used to that difficulty so maybe have 3 health candy sticks or something. Maybe have powerups along the way. So Far this is a great addictive game and more people should give it a chance! Animation Tips -I say look up Ub Iwerks for inspiration to see how the characters look and move Early access rating- 3.5/5
This game is really cool. great 2d graphics, fun to play. I would recommend over and over again.
The game is really amazing like Mario :))) It given the feeling like in childhood ! I highly recommend This game ! Give it a try !!
I really like to play the game because the game is fun and the gameplay is intuitive and clear. The video shows the gameplay very well. I recommend because the game is fun.
Good design and a nice sound track. I like the early cartoon style animation and think its likely to be good fun for all ages. Recommended.
Fun with friends !
Repetitivo, muchos bugs, mal diseñado.
This game is really funny! It seems a bit difficult at first. But once you've played it for a while, you can't get away from it. Another good thing is that you can play again and again and have fun immediately. (No long loading times, no unnecessary sequences.) A good game to start again and again and have fun straight away. For example by the boring #homeoffice because of #Corona. A clear thumb up from me!
