The last part of the game is ABSOLUTE CINEMA, All my confusions in the story got solved in the end lol
Fantastic game, still very playable in 2026, fantastic story, great characters and world.
Perhaps the best Bioshock of them all. The gameplay is the best out of all 3 games. They introduce multiple new enemies that make the gameplay less boring and repetitive. They also add new mechanics that, if used to their fullest extent, will make sure you have a pleasant gameplay experience. Even though, in many sections you'll still find the gameplay a bit repetitive, but for the most part it is not. The story is mind blowing, and, in my opinion, the best of all the Bioshocks.
This was a game I'd seen the trailers and promotion for as a kid and remembered liking what I played of the original BioShock, even if I was ass at it as a kid. To keep it short until I can conjure up a proper review, the gameplay was very smooth and fun to get the hang of, the enemy designs were kinda cool, and the slow but sure growth of DeWitt throughout the story was nice.
I was half paying attention past a certain point since I'd gone as far as finding the tear to find a living Chen Lin and that was it, but when I moved through the tear where Vox Populi had firepower, I paused what I had playing in the background the moment I got the audio log from the DeWitt of that universe and locked for the rest of the game.
And then the ending happened.
I was following it up until that very last reveal because I thought everything leading up to it was really cool (I was also very stoned since the point I rescued Elizabeth from Comstock and got hunted by Songbird); I loved the idea of multiple lighthouses, multiple doorways into other tears, and seeing those other DeWitt/Elizabeth pairings from other tears following what looked like the same path we were with only slight variations and the dream Booker had coming to pass through the Elizabeth of that tear,
but they really didn't do that great of a job making the twist make sense here. As of right now, I finished Burial at Sea Episode One and am starting Episode Two, and I do enjoy
what they tried to do with the whole Comstock and Booker twist in the OG BioShock universe, I think it's neat.
7.5/10
Top!
BioShock Infinite is a visually stunning first-person shooter that delivers an unforgettable blend of action, storytelling, and world-building. Set in the floating city of Columbia, the game immerses players in a richly detailed environment filled with memorable characters, thought-provoking themes, and breathtaking scenery. The gameplay combines fast-paced combat with unique abilities known as Vigors, allowing players to approach encounters in creative ways. The addition of Elizabeth as a companion enhances both the narrative and gameplay, providing meaningful support without becoming a burden. Her character development and relationship with the protagonist are among the strongest aspects of the game. One of the game's greatest achievements is its narrative. The story explores complex concepts such as choice, identity, and alternate realities, culminating in a conclusion that leaves a lasting impression. Combined with excellent voice acting and a remarkable soundtrack, the experience feels both cinematic and emotionally engaging. Overall, BioShock Infinite is a masterpiece of storytelling and game design. Its compelling narrative, beautiful art direction, and innovative gameplay make it a must-play title for fans of story-driven action games. Even years after its release, it remains one of the most memorable experiences in modern gaming.

A lot of fun! More of action shooter compared to that survival horror feel of the first but still really good.
