Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 8 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

🦝 Mixed / Recommended — Biomutant A colorful open-world action RPG with mutant animals, martial arts combat, and extensive character customization. 💥 Highlights: Unique post-apocalyptic world with animal characters Mix of melee combat, guns, and mutant powers Deep character and weapon customization Large open world with exploration and mounts ✔️ Pros: Beautiful and creative art style Fun customization system Relaxing exploration and freedom Interesting mix of combat styles ❌ Cons: Storytelling and narration can feel repetitive Open world sometimes feels empty Combat lacks depth compared to top RPGs ⭐ Verdict: 👉 Worth playing if you enjoy colorful open-world RPGs, exploration, and customization, but don’t expect a masterpiece-level story or combat system.

Short disclaimer: I played Biomutant for a few hours before purchasing it on Steam to support the developers. I never intended to put in more than 10-20EUR however, and the game did not go on sale for a considerable time after releasing (as it sold oddly well, something that surprises me to this day). I think that ultimately this is a well-meaning "double A" game. It is aesthetically coherent and pretty bold at that. Even people who don't like the game at all, myself included, might find some value in how self-consistent it is in some areas. But man does this game likes to get in its own way. First of all: the concept relies on alternating between using guns and melee. The developers have put this "novel" combat system at the very center of the experience. Then they proceed to do everything in their power to undermine it. The game is overflowing with menus and meta-upgrades, all of which offer their own parasitic way to focus on a single aspect of the game as opposed to fluent integration between these options. Instead of deep systems, as the notion of an elaborate "combo system" would evoke, it's another case of going wide instead. Bosses themselves are entirely devoid of interacting with the core systems at all and are gimmicky, cinematic encounters by design. There are a slew of other complaints I have ranging from visual clarity to lack of environmental interaction, but they are all very minor compared to my main gripes. Then there is the real issue with Biomutant that you will see echoed in every somewhat critical review of this game: the pacing. Dear god. This game has to have the single worst pacing I have seen in any game ever. You could make a parody of poorly paced games and I really doubt anyone would have the balls to take it as far as Biomutant does. The game is fully committed to constantly interrupting you at every opportunity. The dialogue is written in a nonsensical in-universe language, which is then translated by the narrator to you; the character first mumbles a bit, then the narrator goes: "he said ur a bit of a...". In effect, this means all dialogue lasts twice as long as every other game, so nobody in their right mind doesn't start skipping all of this immediately. That is, assuming the game will let you, as half the cutscenes and interruptions can't be preempted. In the offchance the narrator leaves you be for a minute or two you will be playing any Ubisoft open world game of navigating bare, copy paste content. Ultimately, the best way I could describe this game is a collection of cool ideas that were all individually poorly executed with little to no thought put into their interplay. It is different, and I think large parts of this game could very well be justified as contributions to much better games, but the overall package is just not it. I'm glad Biomutant exists simply because it dares go against the grain, but it also stands as evidence that just being a creative is not a sufficient to get a coherent, well-designed system.
I really like this game the world is beautiful the race you play as is cool and the combat Is very fun I got it on sale for $10 and it was definitely worth it
Esto es increiblemente aburrido, senti mas emocion jugando al tetris... si buscas un juego que te enganche su historia, que tenga buenos graficos y buenas animaciones... mejor busca en otro lado
The story didn’t really interest me. The narrator can be turned off, but the game will still use it in certain situations, especially when discovering something for the first time. The game is more focused on open-world exploration and side content rather than story. As a completionist, I enjoyed it because I like doing achievements and exploring everything. However, for casual players who just want a strong story, this might not be very engaging.
Biomutant was something I can only describe as the most perfect 6/10 game ever. It's only slightly better than the average game but it's so charming that you don't really mind the fact that it's not an amazing game. It's fun for about 20 hours, which is all I played it before putting the game down for years, but I plan to revisit it soon. The game seems to go on sale pretty often, so if you can grab it for like 10 euros, it's a perfectly fine game with probably more content than you'll play through.
There is a bunch of good intentions in this game but the execution isn't there. Combat is boring, moves are limited, gearing is over-complicated by an awful interface. It's a shame because sometimes you can catch a glimpse of what it could have been, and a few aspects of the artistic direction are original. Even at a low price, even with low expectations, this is not doing it for me.
