About
An atmospheric tower-defence strategy game about holding back an oozing toxic Tide. A distant mining colony has awakened a living flood that seeps from breaches in the ground. Dig for resources, raise the land for defence, and burn your way to seal the breaches. Can you survive the Biletide?
Dig, raise and reshape a 3D voxel battlefield
Control the flow of an unthinking but rising toxic enemy
Burn, block or redirect with towers and defences
Build to manage scarce resources
Deal with pollution as burning the Biletide releases toxic smog
Survive an escalating campaign where every decision matters
Design and share your own levels through Steam workshop
Dig into the voxel terrain to gather the resources your colony needs to survive. Every building or raised tile costs precious material, so expansion always comes with risk. Dig too deep and you provide riverbeds for the tide.
The only way to push back the Biletide is with fire. Build plasma flamethrower towers to hold key choke points and fight your way towards the breaches. But each burn comes with a risk, releasing a toxic smog into the air and suffocating your solar panels.
The Biletide flows seeking the lowest ground. Dig channels and reshape the battlefield to redirect it away from your base.
Some buildings need to be powered, and woe betide you if you get surrounded.
Play through a campaign as colonists struggle to survive on a doomed mining colony. Each mission introduces new pressures and harder choices as the Biletide spreads further across the planet.
Design your own Biletide missions with the built-in level editor. Place terrain, buildings and of course the Biletide. Then share through the Steam Workshop or play levels made by other players.

Really enjoying this game! The gameplay strikes a great balance between strategy and quick decision making, and it's surprisingly tense once the bile starts spreading. Every level had me thinking "I can definitely do this better" which made it hard to stop playing. Challenging, satisfying, and easy to recommend if you enjoy games that reward quick thinking, clever planning and smart strategy. Highly recommended!
Very clever, unique game.
What a fun concept for a tower defence game. Loved the music and overall theme. The UI looks great. I found this very addictive very quickly. There is certainly a steep learning curve and it doesn't hold your hand. The little celebration noise when you win a level is a great dopamine hit. Highly recommend if you like a challenge and something a little different.
If you love tower defense, don't sleep on this one. Excellent gameplay, great original soundtrack, and a fun storyline. The tension runs high and I can't put it down.
Great indie game with a novel concept. I like how new technologies are introduced as you progress through the levels.
A really good tower-defence game with some really interesting mechanics. A great bit of fun!
Think fast, or get swallowed by the bile! This is an interesting take on strategy game, where the enemy is constantly coming at you, from everywhere and fast! You can't really take your time to build your perfect little base. You have to expand and seal the breaches fast, or the level of the bile becomes overwhelming and you lose. I really enjoy the fast thinking required to finish the levels, and the fact that you can create your own to expand the lay time is great. I recommend this game for anyone who likes puzzle games and strategy games, but with a slightly faster pace than usual :)
Really fun game with a great art style. The dynamic map keeps the gameplay fresh, the music fits perfectly, and the ability to create your own levels is a great addition.
A cool concept I haven't seen anywhere else and scratches the itch for tower defence. I did need to turn the difficulty down to start making progress but if you like a challenge more than I do then the harder levels will be fun. Even on the easy mode I get a real sense of achievement when I start pushing back the tide and make progress. Its an interesting combination of grinding and then sudden steps forward. Nice to spend about half an hour completing a level and then coming back to it the next day, or getting sucked in for a longer session.
great tower defence-like game. Like the micromanagement of the towers and the combinations of of them. Music and the art are very fresh and theme worthy.
