В принципе, всё стандартно. Ищем предметы с разными условиями, по контуру, по расцветке, по названию и прочее. Имеются разнообразные простенькие головоломки. Что очень нравится, они всегда новые и потому интересные. Отличительным отличием этой части можно считать немного усложнённый поиск предметов. Здесь экранная лупа находится не просто так, а иногда может выручить. Как водится, в наличии быстро перезаряжающиеся подсказки. What can i say? I have my Gaming Series i really like. Like MECHWARRIOR, HERO OF THE KINGDOM, HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC, TAL: ARCTIC for example. Different Series from Big to smaller ones. One Series i like is a casual and absolutly chilling Series with nice and normal Family Characters. So Welcome to BIG ADVENTURE: TRIP TO EUROPE 8! The BIG ADVENTURE is taking you all over Europe and discovers with each Game more and more Places. Of course, a real Travel is always better then a virtual, but that doesn´t mean virtuals are bad. Let us shorten the Name first from BIG ADVENTURE: TRIP TO EUROPE 8 to BA:TTE8. ^^ Simple and short. Family on Holiday in Europe. And you accompany them. BA:TTE 8 is a pure Hidden Object Game (HOG). On your Journey through Europe you have to find things to finish a Level. Well, that sounds like a typical HOG doesn´t it? While you search for the typical Hidden Objects you also have secondary Ones. In each Level is also a Raccon and a Stamp. There are also special Objects shown as a Shadows as a Bonus. And finally sometimes Levels have 2 Parts. You see, there is much to find. Oh that is not everything. Big Adventure: Trip to Europe 8 ist ein klassisches Wimmelbildspiel und als solches sicher nicht die Creme de la Creme der Computerspiele. Und doch können solche Spiele für zwischendurch richtig entspannend sein und Spass machen. Entscheidend ist einfach, ob dieser Spass auch wirklich stimmt. Und das ist hier erfreulicherweise der Fall. Der erste Eindruck ist etwas zwiespältig. Die Grafik ist zwar einigermassen ansprechend, hat aber doch auch den Look einer billigen Collage, bei der Objekte und Personen einfach ins Bild hineingeklebt wurden. Das stört dann aber weniger als zunächst gedacht. Tatsächlich sind viele Szenen liebevoll gestaltet, mit netten kleinen Animationen und dergleichen. Das Setting führt durch verschiedene europäische Sehenswürdigkeiten, jeweils eingeleitet mit einem kleinen historischen Abriss. Der ist nett gemacht, auch wenn er nicht immer ganz akkurat ist, wie ich beim falsch benannten Thunersee feststellen musste. Aber das ist verschmerzbar. Ebenso verschmerzbar sind zwei oder drei Momente, in denen die Beschreibung eines gesuchten Gegenstandes etwas unverständlich ist. Dank einer gut funktionierenden Tippfunktion lässt sich das problemlos lösen und es kommt wirklich nur selten vor. Damit sind wir beim Gameplay, das ja den Kern des Spiels ausmacht. Und das ist tatsächlich gelungen. Es gibt eine schöne Variabilität zwischen einfach zu findenden Objekten und kniffligeren Fundstücken. Aber es wird nie unfair oder unmöglich. Besonders gelungen ist, dass immer wieder kleine Abwechslungen eingebaut werden, etwa wenn statt konkreten Objekten plötzlich Konturen oder Texturen gesucht werden müssen. Dazu kommt, dass nach jeweils zwei Wimmelbild-Leveln ein anderes Puzzle eingeschoben wird. Die Qualität und Schwierigkeit dieser Minispiele variiert zwar stark, aber grösstenteils sind sie doch unterhaltsam und sorgen für eine willkommene Abwechslung. Mit rund 4-5 Stunden Spielzeit stimmt in meinen Augen auch der Umfang. Untermalt wird das Ganze zudem von einem sehr gefälligen, gemütlichen Sound, der perfekt zur entspannten Suchatmosphäre passt. Fazit: Definitiv kein „muss jeder gespielt haben“-Titel, aber für Fans von Wimmelbildspielen ein wirklich gelungener Genrevertreter. Und auch ideal für alle, die etwas suchen, das man gut zwischendurch in einer Pause spielen kann. Darum alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung.

This game is great to play if you're looking for something simple and soothing. The background music is easy to listen to on a loop and nothing about it is challenging. You find hidden objects and solve some puzzles (puzzles are skipable if you get stuck). Hints always available. That was exactly what I needed, work was getting me down and making me stressed and this game helped me to chill out.

I have enjoyed the series. The graphics include scenes and information about Europe.
