Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 16.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 72.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Look, I'm just going to shoot what i hate about this game right away, First and foremost I'm really sick of the Empowering women characters through them getting sexually assaulted... Seriously?! Do I need to watch so many uncomfortable scenes of ELLEN Page being attacked by men, even worse when most of it happens when she is under 18 making it at least 200 times worse for that situation? I get it, she has spooky spirit with her to help assist her through all of that, But that doesn't mean I wanted to watch it happen or begin to happen. There are plenty of other ways to make a female character badass and interesting... Unfortunately ELLEN Page doesn't really accomplish that for me, There are some scenes that are better than others in this game but there are plenty of absolutely stupid ones. Way too many to come across that I get absolutely irritated with. The other thing that sucks about this game is the controls... I'm sorry call me a novice at these games or just tell me I suck I guess but I think without Button Prompts this game just isn't good, The stupid movie motion joystick "GUESS THE DIRECTION" stuff sucks. Heavy Rain and Detroit Become Human do it way better but it's better than Indigo Prophecy. I also do not appreciate the fact that they FORCE you into these weird relationships with guys that some people who play the game MAY NOT want to be apart of. There is A LOT wrong with David Cage's mind, I truly do believe he is a closet sexual assaulter to be honest, he's weird, the way he got ELLEN Page to be apart of his game was extremely creepy, and He love Sexual Assault in his video games, That's why I liked Detroit more, there wasn't any sexual assault scenes in it, and yet could make a female character that was actually likeable and you looked forward to progressing with.

What a great game! I love interactive movie games❤️🔥
Not good in my opinion. Heavy rain and Detroit become human are miles ahead of this.
I've played Heavy Rain, Detroit and Beyond. Everyone likes Detroit the most then Heavy Rain and lastly Beyond but I think Beyond is the best one, I really like it hope to forget the game to play it again after some years.
Another masterpiece by David Cage. "Beyond: Two Souls" is an emotional journey that explores almost every aspect of human life—love, loss, friendship, family, sacrifice, and the consequences of our choices. It constantly reminds you that every action has a price, making many of the decisions genuinely difficult and forcing you to think twice before making them. The relationships between the characters, especially the bonds of family and friendship, are beautifully written and feel natural throughout the story. The performances make it easy to connect with Jodie's journey from beginning to end. The soundtrack complements every emotional moment perfectly, and the visuals still hold up remarkably well, creating a cinematic experience that immerses you in the story. I don't understand why this game receives so much criticism. From my perspective, it delivers a compelling narrative with memorable characters and an emotional impact that stays with you long after the credits roll. Overall: 9/10
Beyond: Two Souls is a story-focused adventure game with an interesting premise and good presentation. I went into it with fairly low expectations, but I ended up enjoying the story more than I expected. The story is told out of chronological order, which some players may find frustrating. Personally, I didn't mind the structure itself. The different parts of Jodie's life tie together well enough that I never felt lost, and I think telling the story chronologically would probably make it less interesting. However, the fragmented structure also removes a lot of the tension because you often already know what is going to happen and are simply waiting to see how the story gets there. It feels like a deliberate choice in how the story is meant to be experienced, but it comes at the cost of suspense. It's also a bit weird how Jodie seems to have a very different personality in different phases of the story. Some important sections are also very short, while others, like "Homeless", are quite long. The differences in chapter length add to the feeling that some parts of the story don't quite align with each other. At times it almost feels like most of the writing effort seems to have gone into side stories, leaving me wanting to hear more about those stories than about the main plot itself. I also didn't have much of an issue with Jodie herself. Some players find her overly emotional or complain that she spends too much time feeling sorry for herself, but I think her behavior generally fits what the story puts her through. The relationships are more of a mixed bag. The game does a good job of showing Jodie's lack of friends and how isolated she can be, but some of her actual relationships aren't particularly well developed. Her relationship with Professor Dawkins, for example, feels about as deep as a shoebox. There are some good moments, but I rarely felt that their relationship developed into something particularly meaningful. For a story that focuses so heavily on Jodie's life and relationships, this left me wanting a little more depth. One thing I particularly appreciated is how much freedom the game gives you during its scenes. Compared to many other story-driven games, there are surprisingly few moments where you're simply looking for a specific item or following an obvious sequence of actions. Instead, you're often free to decide how you want to approach a situation. Your choices can also influence how some scenes play out, which makes the experience feel more interactive than it initially appears. That said, the PC controls are not particularly good. A lot of the interaction feels like playing a Tinder swipe training simulator, where you're constantly moving the mouse in different directions to perform simple actions. It works, but it doesn't always feel natural or precise. Some of these interactions are also important during quick-time events, where performing the correct action can affect how a scene plays out or whether you get a particular achievement. I also noticed that some mouse gestures require surprisingly small movements; swipe too far or too quickly and the game may not register the input correctly. In some parts I was also wondering how it's possible that I can't seem to press a button repeatedly without the game failing to register it properly. Because of all this, I think the game would benefit considerably from better mouse and keyboard controls. The presentation still holds up fairly well. The environments look good, the character models are convincing for a game of its age and the cinematic presentation fits the story-focused design. The game also does a good job of creating atmosphere without constantly relying on traditional gameplay mechanics. Gameplay is obviously very limited. Most of the time you're exploring small areas, interacting with objects, making choices and progressing the story. That's not necessarily a problem because the game clearly prioritizes storytelling over gameplay, but it does mean that the quality of the narrative is extremely important. Overall, I'd give Beyond: Two Souls a 6.5/10. It has an interesting story, good presentation and more freedom in its scenes than I expected from this type of game. The non-linear storytelling works better than I expected, and I never found the fragmented structure particularly confusing. The biggest problems for me are the PC control scheme, sudden and sometimes strange changes in Jodie's behavior, and the somewhat underdeveloped relationships, but none of these completely undermine the experience. Still, if you enjoy story-driven games, Beyond: Two Souls is worth giving a shot, especially if you can get it cheaply.
