In a nutshell: Meh. Boring, short, and not worth it. Not much else to say. The [strike]Long[/strike] Less Brief Version: I don't think it's worth wasting time picking this one apart too much. So here's a basic rundown: Plot is your standard "evil thing kidnapping people from town" story. Bland and predictable at best. Flavor text and written dialogue (no VOs) were okay, but nothing special. No glaring errors other than one or two misspelled HOG items. The art is dark and muddy, with fuzzy details. It's not always clear what's interactable, so if you're not on easy mode (with annoying hint sparkles every 2 seconds) you'll be relying on blind clicking, hints, and map travel a lot - especially with the amount of backtracking. Hints seem to auto-trigger if you open the map too often without moving. I'm not sure how I feel about that. HOGs are not great. Again, dark colors palettes with fuzzy details. There are only a handful of scenes, and at least 3 of them repeat. Puzzles are infrequent, basic, and very easy. The P&C item usage is frustrating. This is one of the more painful HOPAs where you find a tool that's technically perfect for the problem presented to you (ex. you have a pickaxe and come upon a chunk of ice something is stuck in), but that tool won't work. Instead you need to go out of your way and run backtracking circles until you find some other very specific item to solve the problem instead (ex. a pot of water to heat up and then pour on the ice). It happens often, and it's not very fun. There's a bit of a "morphing object" style hunt, where you have to find doodles of suns that fade in and out of sight in non-puzzle/HOG areas. The only explanation is on the title screen if you happen to click on the locked "Extras" button. But nothing in-game shows them as an actual goal until you click one and see the #/20 counter pop up, so it's very easy to miss most of them. I certainly didn't find all 20, but I have zero interest in going back to find the rest. No widescreen support. Not even black bars, just stretching.
TL;DR: You can very safely skip this one.

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group

👀A GREAT OLD-SCHOOL GAME YOU MAY HAVE OVERLOOKED👀
Try to look "Beyond" the fact that this is an older game with older graphics, and you will discover a game reminiscent of a time when HOPAs weren't cookie-cutter games. One of the features I miss the most in games nowadays is the ability to roam freely. They limit us to 2-3 scenes at a time by locking the previous scenes. When there are only a few scenes to explore, it's nearly impossible to get stumped. How many times have you found an inventory item and used that item within the same scene? This is not the case in Beyond The Invisible: Evening, and one of the biggest reasons I love this game! THE STORY: The small town of Woodville suddenly became shrouded in darkness, and the townspeople began systematically disappearing. As evening sets in, the Shadows emerge, searching for any remaining victims. As the town falls into despair, two orphans embark on a journey of survival into the Evening darkness...and Beyond the Invisible. FEATURES: You are joined by a magical creature named Reed, who requires Magical Orbs to help with some of the tasks. I'm not sure why the developer felt the need to add a helper because he is rarely used and seems unnecessary. Fortunately, he sits quietly in the bottom right corner, out of sight and out of mind! There is also a Jump Map (scenes with an active task have an exclamation mark) and an incredibly helpful Hint System that will guide you through each scene until you reach a scene with an active task. MORPHING OBJECTS: Almost every scene has a Morphing Sun. (21 total) The developer did an amazing job of blending the suns into perfect locations and making them morph at a perfect speed. They aren't impossible to spot, but they can be challenging to find, especially given the fact that some are located inside cabinets or within Zoom Zones versus the main scenes. This is exactly how it should be; Morphing Objects are an added challenge. HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES: The Hidden Object Scenes are Interactive List Finds. Some items tend to be small or hidden in the darker edges, but they are still recognizable objects that can eventually be found with a bit of patience. Personally, I loved these old-school Hidden Object Scenes because objects were often blended into the scenery, and some objects were hidden in plain sight! MINI-GAMES: The Mini Games are definitely doable, although some require a bit of patience to work out. I felt that this game had a perfect ratio of Mini-Games and Hidden Object Scenes. The focus here is on the gameplay itself rather than having back-to-back puzzles. A short but decent casual point-and-click adventure. The drawings are good and the dialog writing is a notch above to other games in this genre (there is no voice acting). The story is the usual unoriginal fairy-tale-like nonsense. The game contains only a handful of hidden-object scenes and puzzle mini-games, with most of the gameplay consisting of the point-and-click adventure.
Beyond the Invisible: Evening. IS it worth a buy?! IS IT?! pay 10$ and get inside a mindless click the thing game, where hidden objects facebook games are just not timed with "you need more energy". Complete a boring mystery as it unfolds that some girl is kidnapped all the time and there's dark creatures and you knew the answer from the begining and it was so obvious story that it was more obvious than a suphero movie. Enjoy terrible music, awful sounds, boring and not so boring puzzles, a game that basically solves itself because they tell you where you got "things of intreset" so this basically tell you there's something to do so you can't be lost, which is kinda good and bad, depends on how you look at it. I just didn't find it great. This is a 4/10, 10$ is not worth it. And no DON'T go play Facebook alternative.
This was a pretty run of the mill HOG game. Nothing horrible, nothing outstanding.
There are much better HOG games out there. Between the very dark scenes designed to make objects artificially difficult to spot and the guesswork involved in most puzzles (I have 5 different things that need a handle, which one will this work on?) this one is just a pass. Also, the story is, meh. I hope the shadows eat her.
