The magnetism gimmick was kind of neat but otherwise this platformer needs a bit more work! Between the silly bugs and the floating unresponsive controls playing this was a bit of a headache. The art style seems nice and I enjoyed the soundtrack but that wasn't enough to save this game for me. No thanks!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb
Последний 5 мир (бонусный так сказать) настолько хардкорен, что я сам до конца не понял как я его вообще прошел.
This is an indy 2D platformer. Kudos should be given to the developer for not choosing a low effort pixel graphics retro style. They have instead opted for a low effort esoteric cave robot style. Unfortunately "It's ART!" is not the shield against criticism for lazy developers as they might hope. Having said that, 4K support and relatively smooth gameplay does show they at least playtested it, which is more than can be said for most lazy indy devs. Gameplay is the same old tired and dead retro platformer style. One gimmick is added, the ability to attract metals and attract or repel magnets, which are liberally used in the level design. Unfortunately the boring, tired 2D gameplay is not saved by this gimmick, which proves more tiresome and frustrating than engaging.
Dull gameplay, I can't recommend this.
Richtig geiles spiel zum Speedrunnen :)
I guess this game will deserve a recommendation, because while it has certain and very, very solid shortcomings, I was mostly having fun while playing it - get it on a sale or in a bundle or something like that. The whole game is centered arounds magnets -you can attract (blue) , or repel (red) and interact with same coloured balls, nodes and platforms. The power depends on the number of the elements you interact, their position and how close you are to those - launching from two repel platforms can be pretty strong, while around the edge of the radius of your power all it can do is help you levitate in one place. This gives some certain depth to the game, because manipulating your distance from a lode you're swinging on can help you stay in one place, swing around, or just catapult yourself. It's quite a lot of fun. The joy of the gameplay is ruined by the problem with the horrible game design. Why are the 4 (+1) different worlds in the "hub" on different floors, when each time returning to the hub resets you to the bottom floor? Each time you want to replay a level for a collectible, you have to be on a level, return to hub, climb the floor(s) and after finishing the level, repeat. It's ridiculous, like the developers never seen a hub-based platformer in all their life. Another problem comes from the level design - there are so, so many jumps of faith, where you don't know that you'll have to attract yourself to the walls, repel from the bottom, die in a pool of tar or just land safely. And because of how the magnetic power works depending on your distance, you DO need to know the level that you can't see. It's just a cheap source of deaths in general, similarlly to how randomly the magnetic powers differ between some levels. A gentre tap to repel keeps you in the air on one level, while catapults you 3-4 times higher into rotating blades on another level. It's just a final, small complainment that game difficulty is pretty all over the place, there are weirdly easy levels between long and difficult levels in later chapters, and it's just a bit weird. I tried the bonust 5th level as well, and it's an incredible difficulty jump from the previous levels, with the usual bad design of you don't know what happens. Like you need to change your jumping arc 3-4 seconds before you even see the bottom of the pit, because you'll have too much momentum to stop with repel. Everything considered, it can be quite entertaining if you're not too serious about getting all collectibles and speedrunner mode achievements, because the game is not polished and fair enough for that. It's nice to get it for 2-3$, spend a few hours playing it as most levels are sub-1min (I had the game running while working on other things). It's fun to fling around and launch yourself, but if you would want a better (still not too hard) precision plarformer with better controls, I would recommend iZBot.
