beVaiR

This game looks quite simplistic, but offers more than I first thought. It is quite a challenge finding strategies in order to win a round. There are so many things to consider (the morphexes, the attacks, neutralizer), which seems overwheling in the beginning, but actually offers a lot of depth and different approaches to try out. I only played a couple of hours, yet, but had some fun until now and will definitely continue. The story is a little cryptic at the beginning, which made me curious on how it will evolve. If you have a VR headset and you are looking for a demanding and mysterious game, I can totally recommend beVaiR to you. The art style is also very nice (though its simplicity) and the music fits perfectly to the flow of the game. Btw. you can create your own difficulty by changing from a series of settings. I really like that, especially increasing the hover radius of the controllers helped me a lot.

Endlich ist BeVaiR verfügbar. Ich habe es sofort gekauft, weil ich mal in der VR Welt einen neuen Ansatz gerne hätte, und BeVaiR schien dies zu bieten. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ich habe jetzt über 2 Stunden gezockt und ich muss sagen das Spiel macht süchtig. Nach eine kurze Eingewöhnungsphase auf die tolle 360 Grad Spielewelt (speziell dieses Merkmal hebt BeVaiR von anderen erheblich ab) erlebt man wie toll eine VR Umfeld genutzt werden kann um zu zocken. BeVaiR ist am Anfang fordernd aber nicht überfordernd. Ich habe auf "Einfach" anfangen um das Spieleprinzip zu lernen. Fortsetzung folgt.

There will be someone out there in Steam VR world that will love beVaiR and play it to death (maybe the other reviewer here), But most of us are going to realise that not only is the price of this game little more than a joke, but the gameplay is way too complex for its own good. The main idea is to turn all the “nodes” your colour by collecting other things and sucking up the floor and turning them into something else. And if you think that sounds complicated and weird, you should try playing the game! Sadly, even if you did somehow manage to work out how to play the game you will soon be begging for your money back. There is NOTHING here to justify the £23.79 price and certainly nothing that would ever make me recommend this to anyone. - item Refunded.

Macht einfach Spaß und macht süchtig! :D Zugegeben, am Anfang war ich etwas unsicher, weil die Spielemechanik doch komplexer ist als einfach nur auf die Nodes zu Ballern. Nodes können Überhitzen und Explodieren, wollen also beschützt werden. Beschützen muss man aber evtl. auch mal die gegnerische Farbe sonst zerreißt es dir das Neuronetz. Dominant darf die Farbe aber nicht werden. Deine Farbe sollte immer dominant sein, wenigstens am Ende der runde damit man Storypunkte bekommt. Dann denkt man sich irgendwann „oh Man wohin mit den vollen Transmitter Magazinen“ und ballert alles auf ein Node um den nächsten Angriff abzufangen (das ist Wörtlich zu verstehen). Dadurch überhitzt aber nur dein Neuronetz, bis du merkst „OK erstelle ich doch neue Nodes und erweitere den Bereich des Neuronetzes, wo meine Farbe Dominant ist“. Es gibt SO VIEL verschiedene Mechaniken, die sich alle gegenseitig beeinflussen das es garantiert nicht langweilig wird. Und wenn du denkst du hast mal ruhe und es passiert nichts… der nächste Angriff wird es dir schon zeigen. Mit der eingebauten „Spectator View“ hat man auch ein Wundervolles Werkzeug zum Streamen! Durch die 360 Grad Spielfläche und der Spectator-View hat der Zuschauer die Beste Möglichkeit mitzuverfolgen, wie gut oder schlecht man sich anstellt. Ich gebe zu mit beVaiR habe ich selbst das Streamen angefangen, unter meinem Namen findet ihr den Kanal. Schwierigkeitsgrad „Einfach“: machbar, perfekt zum Streamen, zum Entspannen nach einem anstrengenden Tag (vor allem mit eigener Musik) und dennoch nicht unterfordernd. Schwierigkeitsgrad „Mittel“: immer noch machbar, perfekt zum Streamen, weil die Zuschauer was zum Lachen haben, fordernd weil dir keine Pause gegönnt wird! Schwierigkeitsgrad „Schwer“: …ich sag Bescheid, wenn ich es einmal geschafft habe. 😉
