About
A brutal FPS. One girl. One gun. One recording.
They broke into her life.
They filmed her. They destroyed her.
Now she's back - and she's filming them.
Better Than Dead is a brutal first-person shooter set in the depths of photorealistic Hong Kong.
You play as a survivor who’s done running. She’s got a pistol, a bodycam, and a kill list.
Every level is a raid. And every raid has a rhythm.
You'll die. You'll learn. You'll come back faster - until every run feels like the revenge scene it was meant to be.
Bodycam revenge shooter – Film every step. Every shot. Every death. No mercy.
Learn, adapt, dominate - Each room has a rhythm. Die, read the layout, and come back harder. Every run is faster than the last.
Photorealistic Hong Kong – Fight your way through iconic action-movie settings: neon-lit restaurants, seedy nightclubs, back alleys, rooftop dens.
Raw, aggressive gunplay - Slide into bullet time. Move fast. Hit harder.
Cinematic action style – Inspired by classic Hong Kong action films from the ’80s and ’90s.

Awesome
Loved the way you had to handle shooting from an unexperienced person's pov, really good game.
I see a lot of potential in this game. In case the developers happen to read this, I’d like to point out a few visual and immersion-breaking details that caught my attention: 1. There is no animation for picking up the weapon during the mission where you have to grab the pistol. 2. The main character doesn’t have the hood shown on the game’s cover, and if you look at her shadow, she doesn’t even appear to have hair. 3. Footstep sounds are almost nonexistent. 4. Enemy and NPC animations are very simple and lack detail. 5. The protagonist’s breathing is barely audible. You can only really hear it after taking damage or after the first kill, but not while running, walking normally, or during an intense firefight. 6. Some doors in the locations cannot be opened, but there is no visual indication that they are inaccessible. 7. Enemies don’t communicate with each other, which feels quite strange. 8. I also noticed a few visual bugs, such as boxes remaining suspended in mid-air. 9. There are way too many censorship filters... 10. The enemies all look the same. 11. Enemies often detect me through walls and start shooting at me through them, even if they have never seen me before. 12. The blood textures, and the blood effects in general, are very simple and repetitive. 13. There is no limit on the firing rate. If I use an autoclicker, the pistol basically turns into a mini submachine gun. The protagonist’s trigger finger isn’t mechanical, after all... Overall, this game still has a lot of room to grow. In my opinion, a game in this genre really needs a large number of small visual and immersive details.
Love the game! Had no crashes and smooth gameplay so far. The gameplay is simple, and you get into the mechanics quickly. I love the fast action and the John Wick–style shooting. 😉
你搞这么黑干鸡毛 我把伽马值拉最高才过的!
