About

Attention Operator,
You have been selected to oversee a critical mission. Our team of elite soldiers is set to descend into a newly discovered abyss, believed to lead to uncharted territories beneath the earth. Your role is to monitor the soldiers' progress, ensuring their safety and collecting data.

As they venture deeper, remain vigilant and provide guidance based on their transmissions. You will have access to a status monitor, a radar, a radio to scan various frequencies, and other equipment to assist in your mission.
Be aware that communication may become sporadic as they descend. Strange anomalies have already been detected, and the nature of the abyss remains unknown.

Prepare for the unexpected and maintain operational readiness at all times. Prepare to face the unimaginable.
End of message.

Super unique game with an interesting story - reminded me a little of Pontypool / Undertone where so much tension is built up from what you cant see. Plenty of scary stuff that you DO see though and the sound design was top notch. Great game!
It's good.
10/10. A long while back I tried out the demo and I overthought the mechanics, got overwhelmed and almost immediately switched to another demo. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to check out the full release because, wow, what a fun and unique story. It's not often I get the heebie-jeebies from a game but this did it. It's not an in your face jump scare game but rather a slow burn that maintains an uncanny and unpredictable environment. The story was right up my alley and I and my community had a great time with it. I highly recommend it, especially on a sale but it's more worth than the full price tag imho.
I thought this was really solid. Great atmosphere that always kept you looking over your shoulder. At times it reminded me of CoRot but without invading your computer. 4 different endings. Choices can make or break. Visually it was fantastic. Yeah.... Definitely in my top 5 horror/atmospheric games this year. 10/10
One of the better walking sims falls short tho. Needs more time in the oven to be honest. The multiple endings is kind of dumb not gonna lie.
A short but well made game. Well worth your time if you like non-combat horror games.
Holy atmosphere, and such a good looking game. No complaints at all, other than maybe the "chasing different endings" style, but I'd say they're worth it in this case. Very good concept, lore, quality scares, creature creation, collectables, and VHS effect. Probably a top ten horror game for me, I'd say. Very worth the normal asking price too, so check it out. 8/10.
Scary and a super unique interesting concept - loved it. I'm not usually big on a lot of text reading in games, but I was very invested on your dynamic with your crew. There's some interesting corporate satire themes happening here, and I found your interactions and decisions with them to be the focal center of this game. Fantastic job at personifying the player character as frankly, a corporate drone, which I found very compelling and an interesting choice for a player character. There are some plot twists that shocked me, and some genuinely scary moments! I love the vintage tech setting, and managing the machines was really cool and interesting. For sure worth your time and money easy! That being said - some things to consider! The gameplay: It's a little less dynamic than Five Nights at Freddie's and Iron Lung, so I'd just keep that in mind. Those are the games I thought this would be more like, and would love to see a sequel that's possibly pushed more in that direction with multiple cameras or a map to track the crew. It is similar to those games in that you are managing a terrifying world that is outside your view, so if you like those games I think you'll like this too, but this is a bit more story driven and has more text dialogue (which is good and interesting so for me I liked it). Below, Rusted Gods is still interactive, but you are a bit more passive, in that there are many moments in which you are waiting for things to happen, vs actively moving the game forward. Accessibility: Since there is a lot of reading and no voice over, and at the time I believe no subtitles, if you have trouble reading the text I think you'll miss out on most of this game. Also pausing the game didn't actually pause the game.... it seems to just put a pause menu overlay. I'd like this to be added since sometimes people want to pause because they need to step away and don't want to miss anything! So I think in that way, pausing is also an accessibility feature. To summarize: great indie horror gem find, unique, unsettling, dystopian - play it !
