beeswing é a virtualização da memória em formato de museu. o jogador transita por memórias infantis justapostas com reflexões adultas. esse contraste dá ritmo e identidade visual ao jogo, que se desenrola em desenhos infantis constantemente colocados em choque com as falas dos personagens e representações adultas na seção dos diálogos é uma experiência rápida e o jogo é muito barato, então acho que vale a pena até pra quem não se anima muito com jogos nesse estilo

Little game about growing up amongst other things, this game is not for everyone but if you like strange little walking sims I recommend. ps Dujanah is the better of Jacks games

Very Scottish. I'm not saying we're all generally melancholy or morbid, but there's something about the way we process grief that is quite well-articulated here. There's a sincerity to it, too - I miss the Scottish countryside, but I'm also glad I no longer live there.

Yup, this is art alright. Made me feel things, be thoughtful, and expand horizons. It's like a buck and like 3 hours if doddling, both of which are worth it

En verdad amo cada cancion de este juego, en gameplay dirian que no es la gran cosa, no deja de ser un walking simulator, sin embargo las visuales sin demasiado bellas y hacen que quieras seguir jugando, el como juega con su propio estilo y lo moldea una y otra vez haciendote sentir diferentes cosas es muy lindo. Ojala hacer algo asi algun dia.

‘There’s no puzzles or fighting or anything like that’, says J. King-Spooner (one of the devs behind Judero) of his game. You play as him (his adult and child selves merge together in an uncanny way), wandering around the little Scottish village he grew up in. And you talk to the villagers, and discover the deep inner worlds of everyday people living seemingly mundane lives. Memory plays an important part (everything is filtered through the dev-protagonist’s memory). The different art styles are very lovely: childlike and profound. And the music is outstanding — the lonesome piano pieces are especially beautiful. The writing is, for the most part, very good. My mum used to live near Beeswing (it’s in Southern Scotland, near Dumfries), and I would drive through there all the time, without thinking about the lives of the souls living there. This game has (re)taught me an important lesson. I hope I can carry it with me. Video games, I love you.

Beeswing é uma experiencia esteticamente interessante que é muito bem construída em volta do sentimento de nostalgia e o estranho conforto que vem quando se fala da vida dessas pessoas q nós nem conhecemos. O fato de que praticamente 100% da arte do jogo é feita a mão também é algo que ajuda muito em sua atmosfera, dando um carinho a mais pro jogo e agregando em sua estética reconfortante e acolhedora. Pelo preço eu diria que o jogo vale muito a pena, já que alem de entregar algo único, também é barato(based)

Obviously made with a lot of love. The bittersweet memories that Jack has, the beautiful hand-painted backgrounds, the animations, and the surreal atmosphere that comes with all Jack's games. 10/10.
