About

beaterCore is an arcade racing game for those who prefer cheap rusty beaters over specialized sports cars. Buy, repair, restore, and tune your dream project car. Take part in racing events and work your way through the career mode.

Repair your car in first person mode. Purchase furniture and stockpile as many spare parts as you can - you're going to need them.

In beaterCore you'll have to make quick repairs in-between races. Everything can go wrong, and you must be prepared for it! Store items in your car's trunk, but be wise with what you bring with you - space is limited.

Play locally with up to four players on the same screen. Keyboard controls are fully supported!

If career mode is not enough - you can always compete against your friends in online races. You're still going to need your resource management skills - multiplayer races affect your cars the same way as in career mode! Show off your pristine ride, or surprise your friends with track-specific tuning.

Experience tracks across different times of year. Prepare your car for icy winter conditions or enjoy the warm, vibrant colors of autumn.

Влетев на полной скорости в кочку у моей шушлайки отвалилось колесо и отрыгнуло амортизатор. Игра 10\10
could be good but the ai make racing into a 5v1
This game (as of current release) in just about everything you should expect from it, and not much more. The mechanics for changing out and repairing your car is simplistic compared to my expectations, you just select the part you want and fit it with a button prompt, replacing the existing part when possible. While I've not ran into the same issue of being in a constant state of bankruptcy as some other players seem to be, the parts to degrade way to quickly. The livery system is also very simplistic, and I'd like to see more sponsor options along with more options for things such as stripes and non-logo designs. The map editor is a very nice touch, but unintuitive to control and can be clunky. I've enjoyed the game so far, and plan to play it much more, but I hope to see more content like a wider variety of parts you can put on your car, a better way to display/store trophies, and more customization options for your car and garage. I've also gotten some performance issues, which is suprising because my computer should be able to run this game fine, however I get frame drops when driving in the third person view. In all, I recommend this game, but you may want to wait before purchasing for some QOL and content updates.

I really really wanted to like this game. But the handling model. My god. I will be driving having a genuinely good time when the car will decide to spin flip and ruin my race completely. AI will pit you, into a flip with no penalty. The AI cars feel 3x heavier than yours, you cannot move them. Parts wear out too fast. Tires are the only thing that matters and a new set will last 2/3 races before you can't accelerate out of the corner or spin randomly when you go over a bump. AI makes mistakes but they are less costly than your mistakes, feels like the AI can drive through trees with no repercussions VERY fun when the game feels fair, the winter rally feels awesome and competitive. Unfortunately its the least driven mode in the game. Overall, If this game was polished and balanced a bit better I'd recommend it but I cannot in its current state.
Fantastic. Needs some really good updates and itll be one of the best racing games ever
very good game
You think the cars in this game need work? So does everything else. In fact just close the hood and call a junkyard to cart this thing off into the great beyond. Car repair in the game is literally drop part in, replace old part. Nothing more than that. Old parts just stay on ground becoming clutter. Said clutter becomes an obstacle course instead of a garage after a handful of races. The car handling is the stuff of legends, and not in a good way. Cars slip and slide with little to warning and there's very little consistency between turns. Most of the time you'll see the car yeeting itself towards a tree while you're desperately just trying to steer. Then you'll find stunningly that trees have NO collision. (Seriously how!? How do you NOT include something as basic as that in a game you intend to sell!?) Tarmac, cobblestone, and dirt, in fact every terrain feel exactly the same, Except the grass, which slows your car down to crawl if you as much as slip one tire onto it while driving. You'll find that there's little to no actual sense of speed to the cars either, no momentum, just either 80mph or 0mph both feel about the same. The AI is laughably bad, running into themselves and into you. Not only that there's some odd quirk with the physics. Opponent cars are like concrete while your car is like paper on said concrete when they inevitably bulldoze through you. Character models wildly shake their head in a disapproving way at all times, I suppose this game's reaction to you playing this absolute mess. I'll give the developers the benefit of the doubt and say a lot of the issues are fixable but as it stands steer clear of this game. Clearly the cars in this experience can't.
It really makes you FEEL like you're driving a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
